Great first half, deserved lead but need that second goal to take pressure off. Declan John is far to good for this league, not sure Dapo is as effective throught the middle, although did come into it more towards the end.

Dominant performance, frustrating at times. Got a few more crosses and shots in as the game went on.

An observation, that when isgrove/Jones have got down wide right and played some balls in, that only Doyle in there. Watching Fonz drop to the edge of the box and Dapo also hang out.

Just commit a bit more and goals are available.

Can't grumble really though, controlling the game.

In the promotion season when they were going for it as well I really enjoyed that match, was a great close and competitive game.

I'm enjoying this one as we are totally outclassing them.

It's weird listening to him and reading comments on here, completely at odds

I love the cunt, but he's either puddled or pissed. Nothing to complain about in that first half. It was genuinely nice to watch.

That’s brilliant and depressing at the same time

Shows how starved we've been on finishers the past 20 years

Very easy to watch us passing it around, good stuff.

However a few points:

 - we really arent creating much, no denying it.

 - the ref has given us everything with the exception of the harsh booking of John.  Hope he doesnt feel he has to even it up in 2nd half.

 - if people want to stick up for Doyle no problem, I'm a fan, but he didn't have a great half and that's been the case a few times lately.  He scored a pen against Mark Howard, that doesn't make him undroppable.

 - let's get on the front foot 2nd half and put it to bed after 70 minutes and John mustn't give the ref an excuse to book him.

Outstanding half, best I can remember for control, passing and domination for a long time. Maybe not a lot created first half hour but moving them around really well.

Some very good quality from out wide from John, Isgrove, Jones. Cohesion and patterns between Williams, Thomason and the rest absolutely top drawer.

72% possession that half, like watching City

TBF Davies did the hard graft to create goals a lot of midfielders banging them in around him. I was a big fan of Pedersen, met him at Grosvenor casino, top fella.

Anyways good half that, they couldn’t cope with us, they look leggy, need to be a bit sharper up top and we’ll put this to bed
