Bit flattered with the scoreline but good performances from Lee /Santos /Dafo/Jones & Williams. Katchunga put a shift in but he should have nabbed his first goal for us.

John & Baptiste we’re iffy , plenty problems down that side first half.

When we’re on it the football is smoother than a velvet codpiece.

onwards & upwards.

Wasn't worried even when they went 1-0 up.

I actually thought Gethin Jones was really good tonight. Unsung hero.

Midfield clicked although I do think Sheehan gets back in.

Shrewsbury will get a good twatting this weekend too just Like these lot did tonight

How?  Dropping 2 goal Lee or captain Sarce?  I've no opinion on it as I haven't watched, just interested.

I'd imagine baptiste. Maybe brocky but I'd say baptiste

Try not to call him a "fucking idiot" if we concede a 12th minute goal.

It shouldn’t be this way

But sticking it to some of our own fans who can’t fucking wait to have a pop is sweeter than us pissing off opposition fans.

We’ve some right dickheads on twitter

Theres a few on here need to take a moment and think

We pass it about to tire the other lot out and come on strong second half

Thomasson over Lee!?!?!?

Dear god

Sarcevic ran a marathon and added a goal

Fwiw, I wouldn't have left Sheehan out, so you can have that one

Seriously though, trust fucking Evatt

From a man who said we battered Sunderland, I'll rest easily. I've no doubt Evatt will take us in the right direction but we all see things differently & like to debate ideas. Evatt rested a couple tonight, it could have been others rested without complaint.

We do need to stop this habit of conceding soft early goals but I'm fucked if I know how 🤔

As well as it turned out today, and we did smash them in the second half, the game changed when Dapo pulled something out of nothing, again.

Having a player that can do that and change a game when the team isn’t playing well is a massive advantage - the fact he’s now doing it consistently means he’s now irreplaceable for us.

Not seen anyone wanting Thomason over Lee.

Good goal from Sarce but his overall performance weren't great but agree he did put in the yards.

Getting that goal near the half time break was massive and then once we got the second goal we ran riot.

Massive result in difficult conditions.

Thought Santos was immense and Gethin was Mr Reliable as usual.

I mentioned it might be worth a try at some stage, with Sheehan given a free role. It wasn't saying Thomason is better than Lee, just it might be a way of getting the best out of Sheehan.

I must also pay tribute to the 888 who travelled, it must go down as one of the best levels of support I’ve heard for a long long time from BWFC fans. The lot of you were fantastic. 👏👏👏 (ifollowwanker)

no mention of that number please we're having nothing to do with betting firms

Thomason has different qualities to Lee. Depends upon what Evatt wants.

Us visionaries have been calling for Lee to start alongside MJ.

Proved right eh!

You wanna talk to a few who went

It couldve easily been another 4 or 5

Anyway, we won and we move on

I've never had an issue with going MJ and Lee...Burton was as good as we have done all season

Just I wouldn't have done it

We are a lovely team atm and tbh all the knocking gets a bit wearing

That's all

We didn't have 4 or 5 shots on target! 😁 Like you say though we move on. Its work in progress & more of a case of fine tuning than any overhaul. Got to say that Kachunga was a nuisance to their defence all night tonight... Yet another call for IE to make on Saturday.

If he passes it to the opposition under no pressure and then fails to mark his man in the box then I'll call him a fucking idiot again.

In which case, you're a fucking idiot.

Here's a stat.  In the last 12 league and cup games, the only game we've scored in when Dapo hasn't netted is the 1-0 at Lincoln.

Lee and MJ v Burton, should have been a trouncing, Lee popped up in the spot he scored from tonight and fired in a legit goal that night. We're a lot better with him in. If it's a toss up between Sheehan and Sarce so be it.

Strange one this league compared to L2, we're conceding more as there are a good number of tidy sides going forward who press quicker and punish slips more ruthlessly but, on the other hand, an equal number of poor defences we seem to be finding it easy to carve open and make chances against.

Either way, it's all very enjoyable and if we keep getting 15 points every 10 games we'll be in a good place come Spring

Brockbank? Upshot is that it’s “only” Shrewsbury at home.

Fair play to Jones for being someone that we’re now worried about who replaces him - doubt many would have been thinking that would be the case at the start of the season but he’s clearly put the work in and has become a very important player!

Jones will play Saturday.

Cards are now competition specific

We played Sunderland off the park second half. I can't see any team in this league going up there and sticking it to them like we did.

Yes we lost but so much to be positive about yet same folk (don't mean you btw) couldn't wait to criticise the team and have sly digs at manager. We really should be past that now but even last season (and I mean the second half when we were winning) some had to find a scapegoat (usually Sarce or Doyle)and mock "Brand Evatt".

Fucking great result COYW!

We struggled first half, but a great strike probably got us out of jail.

second half I thought we were magnificent, worked so hard and got eventually what we deserved.

need to build on that and win Saturday.

special mention to the folk that went - great effort midweek
