Bonne & Taylor putting in shithouse tackles/off the ball elbows because they can't do f all on the pitch these days. Two strikers who can't hack the fact that they're absolute shite journeymen & not even small scale L1 teams want them for more than a few months after being somewhat assets a few years ago. Even though we hardly seen the lad much, Taylor be a big miss purely for his size/aerial prowess for the scenarios we're we'll be under the cosh having balls put into our box at will trying to grind results. Absolutely paramount that Santos/Forrester don't get any setbacks when returning now because Iredale/Toal/Geth trio looks very leaky to say the least

Iredale Toal Jones are fine imo but we need Santos and Forrester as well so we can rest our CB’s

Was really impressed with Taylor. Think he's got great potential and would like to see him back next season but doubtful they would loan him out again especially if we're in the same league

Folk abusing our keeper and his family!

No fucking wonder the team seems off it.

Not the first time the manager has highlighted this sort of the thing, and had a bit of a pop in return.

Th'idiots really need to lay off substances and social media. Pathetic.

Charles is on the mend and stepping up his training after missing the Whites’ last four games, although Saturday’s visit of Cambridge United is likely to come too soon for the striker’s return.

And Baxter looks set to be out until after next month’s likely international break with his wrist injury still to fully heal.

“Dion won't be ready for Saturday and more likely target the next week, whether that's Barnsley or Exeter we don't know. But we'll see how he goes. Nathan it's not great news really. He's out of his pot but he's been recommended to stay in a splint for another few weeks to aid the healing,” said Evatt,

Embarrassed reading some of that.  Nothing we don’t already know but some of our fans are really brain dead.  We’ve got a lad in goal, a Bolton fan, doing his best and he’s getting dogs abuse, probably for doing the things he’s been told to do.  We’ve got no other alternative atm so what positive impact do these muppets think their ranting will have? I despair (again).

Makes me really sad that

Nothing more to add

I at least hope any stick the fellas got has been in the gutter of society that is social media and not our match going fans :(

Unfortunately not, as I witnessed against Charlton. And he could clearly hear it. We really do have some utter cunts "supporting" us.

Done a decent job so far Coleman

If he'd had the same back 3(or 4 or 5) in front on him we'd be out of sight by now. He's not been the only one at fault. Far from it.

We might not have scored more, but we could have converted losses to points gained.

Lets be honest, hes a different level to Baxter, but hes a sub keeper in Division 3

It shows, too, but fuck me, who are these cunts

Mentioned before, Ashworth got it from minute one at Orient

Suppose the upside is its just him not his family

The lads clearly got some quality but very far from his previous best, he's played in the Premiership and the last time we had a keeper (aside from Gilks) who had played in the Premiership was Alnwick/Amos..

Giving him grief and abuse isn't going to help that and its frustrating that we have fans that will do that.

I've met the lad and he is proper sound and a proper Bolton fan all his family are.

I hate hearing players get shit from fans they are young men doing a job they love and one that most of us would love to do.

It must have an affect on how you play and worse still it will come home with you and affect your life away from the game.

Imagine going to work and getting abuse from strangers just for doing your best

In what other walk of life is this sort of abuse tolerated.

We have way to many dickheads following us and it seems to be getting worse.

We are 3rd in the league and on a bit of a bad run with injuries and results not going as well as we would like and fans are turning on players .

It is fucking disgusting

Well said, its terrible, and spoils the matchday experience for normal folk.

In answer to your rhetorical question - politics, policing, receptionists, call centre workers, football stewards, bar workers to name a few....its the society we live in unfortunately.

What pisses me off is those giving players grief nearly keel over walking up the steps to their seats and criticise them for not sprinting 80 yards having just made a similar run in the opposite direction. Imagine someone stood over your shoulder tell you you’re shit whilst doing your job knowing damn well the person saying it is incapable of doing it.

People forget players are ultimately normal people like all of us who just happen to be good at football. They have young kids who may have had them up all night being ill, they may have had a barney with their mrs and they’re in a foul mood. That’s all going to affect their performance, they’re not robots who are 100% fit and never fatigue or aren’t affected by outside influences.

Thing is, it isn’t the first time a reserve keeper has had dog’s abuse for not being as good as the bloke he’s replaced, despite the first choice guy not being available because of injury.

Aiden Davidson springs to mind. He was disliked for not being Keith Branagan!

Thing is, he stared in some of our greatest cup upsets.
