It's a smallish industrial town with a town centre that's never been all that & bashed by the same issues most have. Full of charity shops, £stores and nail bars/vape shops. Many terraced rows close to there & the station, rammed with Eastern Europeans. But go 2 miles out, in absolutely every direction and it's in a lovely area. Good housing, delightful villages and a LOT of money sloshing around. Unfortunately the bulk of people only know the bits around the station.
