Dr. Feelgood Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 What a shame. 9 matches (zero wins). Doing a great job. Here's what the club said in November https://theathletic.com/3911704/2022/11/29/kolo-toure-wigan-athletic-manager/ 3½ year deal. That's going to cost. More cash pissed away. Quote
paulhanley Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 They've potted all his backroom team as well. What a pantomime. Surely not even the turd that won't flush can't ultimately reappear at the bottom of the pan with goings on like this. Quote

When you throw into this that his predecessor Liam Richardson was sacked within weeks of signing a new 3 year deal less than 3 months ago - that's an awful lot of compensation to ex managers racked up inside the last 3 months Then you think about players wages paid late 3 times, FA Sanctions now in place and having to deposit money into a separate designated bank account and the story in the press that the owner wants to sell up this surely has all the makings of administration all over again ? Dr. Feelgood Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Shaun Maloney has quite the pedigree. wiki (I know) Coaching career Celtic appointed Maloney to a coaching role with their under-20 development squad in August 2017. Maloney was added to the coaching staff of the Belgium national team in September 2018. Later that month, he left Celtic to take the position with Belgium on a full-time basis. Maloney worked for Belgium during the delayed UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, in which they lost to, eventual winners, Italy in the quarter-finals. Hibernian Maloney was appointed manager of Scottish club Hibernian in December 2021. They won his first two matches as manager, but a run of one win in 13 league games meant that they dropped into the bottom half of the 2021–22 Scottish Premiership when it split after 33 games. Maloney was sacked by Hibs on 19 April 2022, a few days after they had been beaten 2–1 in a Scottish Cup semi-final by Edinburgh derby rivals Hearts. During May 2022 Dundee entered discussions with Maloney with a view to him becoming their manager, but they failed to reach an agreement. Quote

Rizlar Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Couple of tics in the gym tonight going mad because Geldhart as gone Sunderland how dare he and us getting the striker they wanted how can we outbid them ! I could not resist taking the piss pair of deluded t***s. Quote
barrycowdrill Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Sunderland offered more and Leeds preferred him to go there. They might have been his choice but they were really at the back of a very long queue where Adeboyejo is concerned they fucked about over the fee and personal terms for a good fortnight. It’s a sinking ship so as soon as an alternative comes up for the player again they’re at the back of the queue Quote
