  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

Got through the fellas documentary a while back. He’s right, it wasn’t a racist attack & the media reporting was poor, & dangerous. The boy who committed the attack suffered significant mental health issues after he was vilified. The sad thing is that both these boys are children & it was an incident that the school should have been left to deal with. Everyone behaved as bad as each other for the sake of a headline story. I can hardly look back at my 15 year old self & say I was an angel. Why the media, local mosques & TR were allowed to get involved is beyond me.

Tommy decides the way to go about it is to go after the other child. Releasing confidential school reports & other private information about him. Then he had the audacity to cry victim when he’s sued for damages. What did the daft cunt expect ? Deserves everything he got.

He also conveniently forgets to mention (whilst promising to tell us all ‘The Truth’) that the attackers mother is a convicted racist who spent time in prison for assaulting & racially abusing the local chip shop owner.

The points you make maybe true but that is the distraction he is peddling

He was told not to repeat the allegations in the film, if he did it would be contempt of court. He keeps repeating the claims so it is contempt of court. If his disagrees with the ruling he should challenge the ruling.

The rights and wrongs of what happened before are not relevant. His argument is that the full story has not been told, but he lost his case. He has no right to repeat his claims. That is the law. It is an 'open and shut case , your honour.'

Completely agree

 he’s an idiot

Even worse, people believe his nonsense about him being an oppressed political prisoner. Pretty pathetic going after a 15 year old.

Sadly, two of the people attacked at the Notting Hill Carnival have now died

Carnivals ain’t it. We need to start to learn to expect these things, stabbing are human nature. 🙄

As a lad growing up in Blackrod and HTown we had a carnival every year. The HTown one especially was always a big family weekend event.

But, once it got late it was known for trouble with kids robbing other kids and fights breaking out all over the shop.

Now I live in Aggy and we still have a yearly carnival and it is just the same. But now the kids have knives. A friend of my youngest was attacked by some scrotes from miles away looking for trouble, he was lucky to get away with just a bit of a kicking as they all had knives on them.

Maybe we need more police and jail places? 🤪

The other 999,998 survived so still mostly peaceful.

A former police superintendent in a GB news interview. As always, it's  cut short and lacks context. Poor choice of words, but the fella is disagreeing with the other chap who's saying it has to be banned.

RWs just peddling things that people haven't said.  More interested in making a point than recognising the victims. Nobody wants us to expect these things. But banning these events won't solve the problem, if only it was that simple.

Banning carnivals is clearly the solution.

There are other weekends across the year with equally bad knife homicides in London. And other areas of the UK.

What's particularly awful about these recent ones is the innocent victims who were out attending the carnival with family. More innocent people seem to be getting caught in the crossfire of gang violence at the moment and nobody is arguing that this should become normal. Crime rates are a huge worry and NHC should look to make changes to keep people attending safe.

Is the solution though to ban Notting hill Carnival? Or have we lost site of the bigger issue and the debate around reducing knife crime? Maybe we shouldn't be blaming the carnival but discussing harsher sentencing combined with other community centred approaches and early interventions.

There are loads of youth centres and other projects involved with the carnival that are helping give local youngsters opportunities and funding. I find it hard to understand why we should take away its licence.

As long as it is scrotes killing scrotes I don't give a toss, but, innocent people are being killed/injured and that needs to be addressed urgently

“Peddling  things that people haven’t said” Really?

Decide for yourself @only1swanny If it was cut short or taken out of context. Looks pretty clear cut what he’s saying here.

Another pathetic comparison with football. I’d guess around 1 million fans have attended football this weekend including some very high profile games. Let’s compare the amount of stabbings, sexual assaults, injured/assaulted emergency workers and arrests and see how they measure up.

Nobody is suggesting it needs to measure up exactly

The point is we don’t need to ban something because a violent minority offend

It is never going to be stopped is it? Think about the Rochdale grooming gang inaction. There is not a cat in hells chance of anyone even discussing a ban on the NHC. Fear of the 'R' word will see to that.

This is a good account for random bits of violence on the streets of London on a daily basis.

WTF? Wakey, wakey, Wakey FFS.

Horrible little bastards. Interested to see what comes out of the police referring themselves to the IOPC as a result of earlier reports of the poor old chap being hassled by the same little scumbags.
