Day after my eldest son was born, the match that effectively kept us up, JJ screamer!!! Followed straight after by end of season piss-up/headwetting with the team I played for, was absolutely battered. So much so when I went to collect Mrs & baby from hospital Sunday morning I was that rough the nurse sent me home and wouldn't release them into my care!!! Had to go back at 6pm 😂 That little anecdote doesn't get brought up during arguments much!! He's 21 this April, where the fuck has that time gone!!

Class from Collins to their fans, Aaron Collins' message to our fans: "Gasheads, what a two-and-a-half years it has been. From scoring that screamer against Oxford in the FA Cup, to that 4-3 win away at Rochdale, and then making history with the 7-0 win on that final day - being a part of getting this club back to League One will live with me forever and I’ll never forget the feeling of being on top of that lamppost on Gloucester Road, celebrating with all of you Gasheads. Being named as League One Player of the Season 2022/23 was a special achievement, and I'm so grateful it was part of this incredible club. I couldn't have done it without the support of the Gasheads, and the noise you make, week in and week out. I will forever cherish the memories of playing in the blue and white quarters and hope one day I can be a part of the Gas family once again. Who knows what the future holds. I'd like to thank both the players and the staff who have been a part of my journey at Rovers. I've made friends for life, and have loved my time here. UTG Goodnight Irene. For now..."

Nah. Parkinson had a squad full of players who'd played most of their careers in the top 2 divisions. Evatt has certainly never had that.

Last days of the cult. As I've always said I don't blame anyone who voted for it, given the lies that were told and the general feeling in the country, and how it was weaponised by some for personal.political gain, but if you are still trying to claim its been good for the country then you need your bumps feeling.
  6. club: we want to increase it this much trust: sound. can we still get in free?
  7. We can bat this back and forward across the net forever and you will repeatedly resort to such sarcasm. Point - none. Waste of fucking time. Quite simple for me. There is a country under threat from virtually all of its neighbours which want to see it cease to exist and "the Jews pushed into the sea". This country has Western values and would behave in a completely civilised way if left alone to simply get on with life. Instead, they have to resort to military and other means to counter such savagery as seen on October 7th. Would that entity have my support or the other one which claims to be part of the 'religion of peace' which has committed the most vicious and bloody massacres all over the world over the last few decades - even in the UK. Simple choice for me. Dismantle the enemies capability. Completely. Pointless discussing with you any further. Truth is, none of us is ever going to change our position.

They look like they've been captured by Isis while out on a humanitarian mission in Jalalabad.
  10. 100%, the position we are in , it would be crazy to gamble with chance we have.
  11. Thought there was 300 of em....
  12. No, that was Markland. 😄
  13. You may not have to worry about it...
  14. Credit was given for actually achieving what he should have done with that squad. Any analogies to our current situation end with that. Chalk and cheese achievements. Both successful, but by the fuck you would want Evatt every day of the week at the helm.
  15. Same here, that day at Wembley was special and we'll always have that but the experience playing in such a corrupted and long winded tournament has been shite. I'm ready to return to a prolonged period of those soul-destroying home games against Stoke, QPR, Cardiff, Boro etc again!
  16. Still 1st round for championship clubs.
  17. Poisoned chalice for IE this, still remember folk saying promotion wasn't down to PP because he had the best squad in the league so anyone could have done it 🙄

Such a roaring success that we've devoted a whole 3 column inches to it! 😁

We've conceded 5 goals total in last 10 games, of which 2 were against premier league opposition. Ricardo's a loss but can't see why we're suddenly going to be keystone cops trying to win 4-3.

Still comfortably in squad registration rules. For league one, goalkeepers and u21s don’t need to be registered, so that excludes - Baxter, Coleman, Ashworth, Taylor, Ramsay Def: Santos, Toal, Forrester, Jones, Iredale, Johnston, (Taylor) = 6 registered Wingback: Williams, Cogley, Ogbeta, (Ashworth, Ramsay, Matheson) = 3 registered MF: Thomason, Sheehan, Dempsey, Morley, Maghoma, Mendes Gomes = 6 registered FWD: Charles, Victor, Jerome, Bodvarsson, Nlundulu, Collins = 6 registered That’s only 21 players even including Johnston and Nlundulu
  21. Where's Markham the lazy bastard. Are we paying him?
  22. RICO at the back and Dion in attack; he knows exactly what we need
  23. Father in law is a season ticket holder at WBA. Reckons we've got a good one and is surprised to see him go as he's been making regular subs appearances of late..... Quick and comfortable with the ball at his feet.
  24. He's got a very long neck. Made me think of this, one of the best Twitter put-downs ever.
  25. Woah , no ones having my back row NSL ticket
  26. Aaron Collins / Dion Charles AC/DC strike force Unbelievable
  27. Yes it Bodie's well
  28. Only if you trust those loons on Twitter. No substance or source to it whatsoever, just some randomer that everyone has jumped on.
  29. yeah I get all that, I'd like to see Hamas eliminated as well, our positions in that respect are aligned but what i don't get, and what the Team Israel can't seem to explain, is why so much death and destruction of innocent kids and lives is acceptable - it's almost like they see Palestinans and Hamas as one and same entity for some reason, so no harm done. the other irony being it fuels the enemy's capability madness
  30. Some big shoes to fill there😁
  31. Looking forward to seeing what Collins brings. Hopefully spur Charles on to find form again too. Number 28 he'll be wearing. Big history with that shirt. Craig Davies, Josh Magennis, Lubomir Michalik etc
  32. Dont forget we cant see as far as the other goal now and if you think the tannoy is bad now - wait till your hearing goes and you cant hear it, plus we dont see 90 mins due to the number of pee breaks

Ask the farmers across Europe what they think about the never ending list of regulations implemented by the EU. Brexit has given us the freedom to decide unilaterally what route we take as a country and put the real power into our own peoples hands.
