  1. Bit late to the party but been locked out of my account for months. Huge thanks to @Whitesince63 and @Casino for sorting things. Well, think it's safe to say we saved our best for last! Thought both semi performances were spot on, just solid hard work. Couldn't go to the final and just as well as I was rushed into Bolton Royal on the Saturday night and watched the game from a bed in A&E resus 😳. Gave me a right boost and judging from the cheers from all parts, I wasn't the only one 😀. Can't wait for next season. COYWM
  2. Was in for a few days mate, had sepsis 😳. Had to take it easy so it was great reading everybody's reactions on here. Watched the full game back on Wanderers TV - Super John's commentary towards the end when it was clear we'd won. " Players leave the club but the club never leaves them". Bloody hell. He was in bits, I was in bits, brilliant stuff 👏
  3. What a crock of shit She has worked her to the top of her profession and is paid accordingly and gets jobs in TV. She will spend hours every day watching and studying football it is literally her job, why you have bought in other people in the game into when we are talking about people on here. But even other people in the game are unlikely to have her depth of knowledge at the level we are watching. She has the highest level of coaching badges. You sound like one of those people who reckon they could fly a plane if the pilot had a problem, after all they have been on holiday before.
  4. He looks bigger when you are on your knees
  5. Do better, lads, FFS, this sort of shit wasn't funny in the 80s
  6. Like summet off Brass Eye 🤣
  7. Thank you. From what I'm reading - it was always this system historically put the Tories moved it to FPTP in 2022 because it benefitted them. So it's a return to the norm as much as anything? And presumably good news for smaller/independent candidates? I'm not sure this makes them 'the most morally corrupt' government in history as the click bait would suggest 😁
  8. Some fantastic news for a change. BBC NewsHPV vaccine means young women now have 'close to zero' ri...A new study finds that hundreds of lives have been saved since school-age girls were offered the HPV jab in 2008.
  9. Oh no it isn't.
  10. Southgate reminds me of Evatt, glad he's gone.
  11. Brilliant news. Our daughter was one of the first to get this jab when it came out. Let’s hope the data continue to show this “game changing” effect on reducing or eliminating cervical cancer as the girls/women get older. Clever stuff finding out the HPV virus was a big cause, and then developing vaccines to prevent.

I don’t want him solely because he’s called Kasey
  14. I can’t see any mention of Gudjohnsen’s solo goal against Wimbledon in the League Cup. In addition, Okocha’s run and strike in the relegation 6-pointer against West Ham. Finally, Jiminho’s strike against, I think, Forest at Burnden.

I remember, around about 4 weeks ago, everyone on here got along for about 10 mins and there was absolutely 0 negativity at all, happy times man.
  16. Becks free kick in the WC qualifying against Greece.
  17. Think that's my number one goal ever you know. For plain aesthetics. It's got everything. I love the goals for Palace away Sheff Weds when they all smashed in to the stansion.
  18. Big Sam’s header against Sunderland Frankie’s goal JJ free kick against Villa Non BWFC Any goal that results in a defeat for Man Ure
  19. Aye meant more defensively and being a bit exposed. Tremendous going forward. Most of their success seemed to come down his side, but a lot of that was his lack of cover. Not his fault perse but with Stones next to him and Anderson not getting across he looks a bit of a worry defensively to me, especially against someone proper. Looked better when Bellers was slightly deeper and covering. I think the lad is fucking brilliant, just looked slightly exposed at times. He'll be reet.
  20. That doesn't mean someone else who isn't doing what she does isn't as knowledgeable, which is what you stated. She won't get anywhere near managing in the men's game neither, so an unreasonable comparison. Fwiw, I've always thought she is very good as a pundit and comes across as decent. That doesn't mean she can be free from criticism- look at the bile spouted about just about every pundit. They are men, so it isn't a sexism related set of comments, which I sense may be behind your comments. The greatest example of equity is being able to criticise women equally to men, and compliment them likewise. As for the programme, that chalkboard was dreadful and whoever thought it would be a good idea was way off the mark.

  22. That woman in the kitchen didn't quite work. Get some chips on luv.
  23. God knows, the Dark Ages? She is the most successful women's club manager in history and was sought after and secured by the USA, the biggest job in international women's football. She knows the game, explains it clearly and well, and could be in a Onesie for all I care
  24. She knows more about football than any of us. I also don’t see people like Merson getting any level of hate, when it seems that English is his 3rd language

Good to see he’s keeping the white wall going..
  26. She’s incredibly good at her job
  27. And the US looking toothless despite burning through its resources, further eroding it's influence globally, alienating its allies in and around the gulf, setting back the resistance movement and showing Iran that they can shut down the world economy at will. Well done Donald. Another masterpiece from you and no doubt a source of unbridled joy to your army of clapping seals.
  28. I got drawn in initially, mainly because I remembered what happened last time. Just stick him on ignore and skip any replies to him.
  29. @Sluffy - just post the link
  30. Wolves. 49 seconds in
  31. He's not being targeted and anything he's getting is for current behaviour.
  32. Yay, welcome back pal it finally worked and many thanks to Casino and his never give up attitude. Let’s hope you don’t get targeted for past demeanours like a certain other Nuts member who shall remain nameless! 🤪 Didn’t realise you’d been poorly so hope you’re now on the mend.
  33. I think Emma Hayes is very good, she knows what she's talking about. I'm not arsed that she's got a very thick Essex accent or that she's not the best looking, she knows her football stuff. I'd have her on for every game before that rat Neville.
  34. Hope you are feeling better mate 👍
  35. 😁 - you're so sensitive about 'Big Nige' aren't you sugar plum 😉
  36. Didn't watch the game but New Zealand have a right winger called Elijah Just, scored a brace and currently plays for Motherwell, be interesting to see how he plays next game.
  37. Shearer in 1976 ? He was 6. Do you mean McDonald ?
  38. A blistering attack on Trumps war from Antony Blinken, former US Secretary of State (Rubio's equivalent) I highly recommend that you read it all. Thoughts on the “Ceasefire” with Iran: President Trump should share the ceasefire agreement with the American people. They deserve to see it and draw their own conclusions about the results of the president’s war. Just as they should have been informed before he launched it. From what’s been reported, it’s a bad deal to end a misguided war of President Trump’s choosing. The only thing worse would be to continue the war that has proven so costly in lives lost — including U.S. service members — and taxpayer dollars spent without making the American people safer or their lives better. By President Trump’s own terms, the war is a failure. The Iranian regime is intact and its military wing more empowered, while the Iranian people are more impoverished, repressed and desperate. Iran apparently retains a significant supply of missiles and drones and the productive capacity to make more. It has renewed links to lethal proxies in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere. The ceasefire agreement seems to be silent about these issues The attempt to “re-obliterate” Iran’s nuclear program — which President Trump claimed to have wiped out last year — failed. Iran still has the highly enriched uranium it had produced before the war started, along with centrifuges to spin the uranium into weapons-grade material. Maybe that will be addressed in the negotiations that are supposed to start this week. But at what price in terms of sanctions relief and assets unfrozen? At best, we’ll get back to something that looks like the JCPOA — the nuclear deal negotiated by President Obama without going to war that put Iran’s nuclear program in a box. President Trump tore up the JCPOA in 2018 and then failed to replace it. There’s reason to doubt we will come away with anything as strong as the JCPOA — which took two years to negotiate in partnership with all the major powers — in 60 days, playing a far weaker hand. And by the way, if the president tries to claim credit for Iran renouncing nuclear weapons as part of any agreement, look no further than the very first paragraph of the JCPOA, which contains the same pledge. The only “achievement” of the ceasefire is the likely re-opening the Strait of Hormuz — which was open before the war started. And we will apparently pay Iran to do so, in the form of waivers for the export of Iranian crude oil. Iran has now demonstrated the capacity to stop or slow the passage of oil, natural gas, fertilizer and other critical products upon which so much of the world depend. Going forward, it will almost certainly find ways to collect “fees” for safe passage that will help entrench the regime. Don’t expect a return to normal any time soon, if at all. Crude oil prices will drop from the record highs they reached — but they’re unlikely to fall to pre-war levels. We will all pay for a sustained inflationary effect. It will take time to restart oil and gas production, repair infrastructure, refill dangerously depleted stockpiles, clear mines, and restore confidence. Just as it will take a lot of time to replenish our own supply of offensive and defensive missiles, to the detriment of our deterrent in other parts of the world. Maybe the only positive development is the world’s renewed focus on renewable energy as a way to break the stranglehold of the Strait. But China will be the big winner as the world’s leader in wind, solar, EV’s and batteries — further expanding its influence — while the Trump administration is paying wind farms to shut down and gutting incentives to make us more competitive in EVs. (I just returned from Norway, where more than 90 percent of the new cars sold last year were full EV’s. Norway may be ahead of the curve, but we’re driving right off the road). Meanwhile, the administration achieved a terrible trifecta of alienating our partners in Europe (insulted and threatened for two years, not consulted on the war and then lambasted for not helping bail us out), Asia (which bore the greatest impact of high energy prices and rising scarcity) and the Middle East (the primary target of Iranian retaliation), while diminishing our standing and credibility everywhere. Most of all, President Trump’s war of choice has failed the ultimate foreign policy test: it has failed to make the American people better off. At a time when more and more American families are struggling to make ends meet, this war has made filling everything from the gas tank to the grocery cart to medical prescriptions harder and more expensive. We should all be glad the war is over — for now. No doubt President Trump will claim credit for ending it. But that’s like an arsonist boasting about putting out a fire he started after half the house has been burnt down.
  39. No surprise to see you jump in, you racist misogynist
  40. imagine watching that game as a neutral last night then learning there's been a debate whether bellingham should start or not
  41. No wonder we haven't signed anyone.
  42. Ban men from looking after kids 😂🤣 Only Bolty could come up with that shite.
  43. just reign in it no need for the essays, regular dictionary definitions, and apparent desire to put folk in their place
  44. FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.
  45. All this slander I wont stand for , Ill have to sit . I cant type stood up anyway . Sharon is wonderful and this opinion is not affected by the fact I fancy her a bit/lot. She is not Muslim ....how VERY dare you . She is Christian as is Ian Evatt which maybe explains why she was slow to sack him /reject his resignation . Her dad made his money in property (if I remember right ) , Her Grandad was a very respected call out GP around the North West and occasionally worked with my Dad in his role as a war pensioners welfare officer and both were heavily involved in the British Legion , She is a Burnley fan and tried to buy Burnley before Michael James talked her into buying Bolton , with a mates loan from the Pink Floyd drummer of £5 mill plus other investors including a mates loan from Warbbies. Michael James was instrumental in the buy out of sweaty ken . Sharrons desire to run a football club and "Do good" has been brilliant for us and the reconnection of the club and the community should never be underestimated and has followed the model by community clubs like Everton & Millwall . the gold standard for community connection . Covid -19 was a God send for Bolton Wanderers .
