  1. The 2011 cup run may have ended in embarrassment but ending up three rows forward and about 20ft to the right after Chungys last minute header Vs Brum is forever ingrained on my brain and my shins. It's stuff like this that armchair premier league fans don't get about supporting a shit team. Get away from the telly and to your local teams ground watch em be fucking rubbish and play out dull as fuck 0-0s it just makes the joy even better when things go right and you win a tin pot trophy at Wembley and you feel more joy than any game on telly can ever provide.

  4. Not that bothered about this comp but I do enjoy the winning mentality and I defo think there is something in this breeds confidence malarkey.

  5. We signed Speed around the same time didn't we? If I could turn the clock back I'd pick Speed every time if it came down to picking one or the other. Having him play for us feels like a blessing. I'm pretty certain I'd not feel the same about Keane.

  7. I've gone full circle on Keane. Hated him all my life. Then began to like him on his punditry. Now Im back to hating him again after looking back at a collection of his incidents. What a horrible nasty cunt he was, with absolutely nothing to back it up. Hard man my arse, he couldn't fight sleep. Just a vindictive cunt.

  15. The best thing tonight is that we have completely rested Charles, Santos, Williams, Cogley, Thomason and Baxter. And sheehan and vic only had cameos, so all will be fit and firing for Saturday. If we keep going in this comp, same rotation needed. Well done the boys out there, every credit to getting us through to the quarters. Hope we don’t have league games this season where both Santos and Jones don’t play.

  17. @DirtySanchez @Dr. Feelgood that's the thing about Australia, not much makes sense and you can never predict how Aussies will react. 'Land Down Under' is beloved and the Scotsman who wrote and sung it is considered an Australian treasure.

  27. I think £20 seems a little steep, considering every other home cup game this season was priced at £10. No disrespect to Luton intended but they are a PL club in name only. Having paid for ticket and travel to Leyton Orient the Saturday after it was always a no for me this one. However I do think that even a £10, not a chance we were shifting close to 20k for it. 13-14k max, I feel this at £20 will be 8-9k.

  30. If it makes people like me think twice (It’s £50 I hadn’t planned on spending next week, same week as Orient away) then it’s definitely going to knock a few thousand off the crowd. Probably more like 8k than 15k now. Poor decision if it’s one that Luton didn’t influence.

  31. PMSL, he was injured and it was at the time the Rio stuff was happening, tbf all the players/staff where approachable. Coyle was manager and we went in the dressing room before the match just after the team arrived, it was obv there was a problem, the atmosphere wasn't the best, ushered in and out. Completely different from when lad was mascot at home just after Coyle arrived. TBF Coyle was always good with my lad, just a shame it didn't work out on the pitch.

  32. Think @Lt. Aldo Raine was correct on first post. It’s changed from last year: Quarter Finals. The eight winners from the Round of 16 will contest the quarter-finals. The Quarter Final pairings are determined by means of an unseeded draw but on a regionalised basis (North and South). The League shall determine the placing of Clubs in each of the two regions prior to the draw.

  37. I don’t see how losing to Accy will have a positive effect on the squad. Defeat to an average league 2 team isn’t exactly good preparation for a league game 3 days later. Try to win, but rest players to protect the squad where possible.

  38. I’ve only just come across their chairman (owner?) on Twitter but he’s already confirmed to some fan asking him a question that he’d sell Clarke-Harris to anyone if the price is right. I always find it to be a massive red flag when owners / chairmen of football clubs are on twitter and engaging with fans. On one hand it shows a bit of transparency but football fans in the main are an irrational bunch and engaging with them on such a regular and informal basis rarely ends well.
