Spotted him at Northampton

Good deal compared to SIXTEEN POUNDS on K&F

Without defending the club t0o much, I think a lot of that is down to the quite exhorbitant rates from Tyrer's

Vulcan categorically don't get theirs first, just because they run coaches.

I'm inclined to believe you, as per your answer to my question last week, but I was told by a landlord of another pub yesterday, that I would think was in the know, that Vulcan do get an allocation of tickets.

For what its worth, ive long since stopped giving a shit, but fuck knows what to believe these days 🤯

Was it lonergan that had a belter? One of our keepers around that time had a cracker

Lonergan's song was to the tune of Mrs Robinson, one of the better ones from memory.

He came in to my work the other week, sound fella by the way, and I very professionally resisted the temptation to serenade him with it.

That’s the one! Seem to remember it being sung over and over under the stands at an away game.

It’ll be stuck in my head all day now

Its amazing how many great songs get sung either in the pub or under the stands at away games, and never see the light of day once a game starts.

Lonerghan was one of my favourite BW keepers, not dissimilar to Branagan and Baxter as a reliable, calming influence who made all the saves you'd hope your keeper would make and didn't make cock ups unlike a lot of keepers that played at a higher level.

Weird one. I thought he was distinctly average, and could easily forget he even played for us.

Also another ‘WTF were you doing’ signing which added to our financial woes. We already had Bogdan, who Coyle liked, was perfectly capable, and had ousted Jussi. We then went and spent another £1m on Lonergan for “competition”.

Was Lonergan no.1 at one point? Presume he was going off appearances but I’ve had a complete mind block over his time with us.

Bournemouth away it was 13/14 season - we won 2-0, Beckford scored last minute.

That’s the one! Should have remembered, my mate got arrested for running on the pitch and trying to celebrate with Spearing after that second goal 😂.

Felt like a European trip that one!

Did Bogdan not have 12 months out with with a knee or ankle issue?

2014-15 was his main season as No.1 (30+ games) although Bogdan and Amos played too.  I liked him being our keeper, but admittedly I can't recall specific games, it was a forgettable period in our history under Lennon.

I see Wigan have brought their weekend game forward to the Friday night, which obviously gives them extra recovery time.

Is it owt to do with the rugby or what?
