Can’t wait for Saturday to be over so we don’t have to listen to any more deluded cunts thinking we will finish 2nd. It’s embarrassing

Saying people who hope we can finish second are 'deluded cunts' stinks of JCL types.

Did you not go to Wrexham ?

hes from wrexham!

tbh, the day you cant believe is the day you may as well give up as abolton fan but as long a shot as wrexham was, its 10% of what we are looking for tomorrow

I still have hope of a miracle, only not going because i'm out at night and it would have been a major rush anyway. I'd be delighted with promotion, there will be no regrets about not going - just a very heavy and happy sesh in Manchester

Sadly not as I was 2.

i get believing but it’s delusional. I would love it if it happened but it is so unlikely. I mean who loses to Carlisle….oh wait.

We need to concentrate on where we are. Being deflated if we don’t finish 2nd is my worry.

Nobody "believes" we're finishing 2nd.

It isn’t that hard for one team to lose at home to a team with nothing to play for and therefore relaxed and another team to win by three to a team saving their players for the playoffs. Unlikely but it could happen

it's not like Carlisle are known for doing anything of note on the last day of the season is it

Majority of us know the reality.

Im looking forward to; cheering the boys on, beers on an away day,  atmosphere of 2.5k whites and hopefully a moral boosting win to take us into play-offs.

Don’t mock those having a football dream though. Football has enough problems without taking those away.

VAR might have disallowed that goal, due to the attacker possibly impeding the goalkeeper (even though it's very slight)

What was the Wrexham scenario being referred to as equally/more unlikely than this weekend?

Torquay were playing Scunthorpe at home.

Torquay needed 1 point to win promotion. Scunthorpe had to win and hope we didn't for Scunny to go up, we had to win and hope for Scunny to win for us to go up

EDIT

Torquay only needed 1 point from last 2 games to go up. They lost 1-0 at Burnley on the Tuesday too, Sean McGrory scored, I went to that too

Indeed, so the main thing is that Scunthorpe had something to play for...................sadly, Carlisle don't.

I must admit, I can't see us winning, Derby losing and all that whilst accommodating the required goal difference swing.

I'm still going tomorrow though

Looks like 2 full rows have been returned in the upper section

I think match tickets should be non - refundable - Ilike concert tickets - holidays - travel and numerous others (and I speak as someone who has returned tickets)

I don’t think there’s a chance of being deflated now, mainly because like you say, it’d take a miracle.

Winning tomorrow means we end the season in good form - 1 loss in the last 12 games, 14 points from the last 6 games and confidence will quite rightly be high. I don’t think a loss is disastrous, nor does a win mean we’ll go on and win the play offs, but regardless of whether Derby win tomorrow I think us winning and taking that form into the play offs can only be a good thing.
