Whitesince63 Posted Saturday at 15:43 Posted Saturday at 15:43 What better time for Randall to recover some gravitas? Quote
Whitesince63 Posted Saturday at 15:51 Posted Saturday at 15:51 Conways got to stay full back now let Cissoko do the forward runs. Quote

CambridgeBWFC Posted Saturday at 15:53 Posted Saturday at 15:53 Should have been more comfortable, but get in Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted Saturday at 15:55 Posted Saturday at 15:55 Unconvincing, but after last week the main objective was to win and we did Quote
Whitesince63 Posted Saturday at 15:55 Posted Saturday at 15:55 Thank goodness for that but fair play to all our lads who put a shift in today in atrocious conditions. Quote
Wanderlust Posted Saturday at 15:56 Posted Saturday at 15:56 Well, we scored more goals than them, so Im happy. Quote
DaisyHWanderer Posted Saturday at 16:03 Posted Saturday at 16:03 Harder than it needed to be but great win in the end, same again next week please Quote

Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool have had enough disappointing results against lower ranked teams not to take them for granted. Anyway, taking the Prem out of it, I honestly don't recall not thinking any win will do for us, do you? 2 seasons ago we won the first 3, against 2 teams that were relegated and Lincoln at home, the 4th game was Wigan. We were all buzzing for the game, big atmosphere and no way would any of us not have settled for a 1-0 win, even without hindsight. I think the last time I turned up to games just expecting us to win easily was probably in the 100 goal/98 point season under Todd. Every league game since then, any win will do, don't care how we play. Well, we'll both agree today was any win will do, and thankfully we did! Very pleased for Burstow bouncing back after last week. And the defence must take confidence from seeing a tight game out. Great stuff Quote
Arrested development Posted Saturday at 16:08 Posted Saturday at 16:08 Thought we were good second half. I can't remember them testing TSL. Wasn't comfortable but felt we should of had another second half. Important to get the win after last week. Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted Saturday at 16:09 Posted Saturday at 16:09 A win's a win but we had more than we showed after a great start. Still, 3 points & 8th. Onwards & upwards. Quote
dusan nikolic Posted Saturday at 16:10 Posted Saturday at 16:10 Not pretty by any stretch but a valuable 3 points that keeps the good home form going. Quote

Zico Posted Saturday at 16:11 Posted Saturday at 16:11 Given how good we were the opening 20 minutes, we made hard work of that They were on top after that until we made our subs Whatever Next Quote
Spider Posted Saturday at 16:18 Posted Saturday at 16:18 3 points. No fucks given about anything else. You whites. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted Saturday at 16:21 Posted Saturday at 16:21 Job done. On to the next one. Wasn't getting walked through in midfield like last week. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted Saturday at 16:23 Posted Saturday at 16:23 Table looks a lot better now; pity Cardiff, Stockport and Stevenage won Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted Saturday at 16:36 Posted Saturday at 16:36 Two lovely finishes, 3 points. Nervy. shit conditions, played ok. thawing out with a beer have a good one all. Quote
Hoppy Posted Saturday at 16:40 Posted Saturday at 16:40 Good win against the bottom side thought we were in for another 4:0 but we made hard work of it once we conceded , I felt we panicked a bit after thier goal, but glad to get the 3 points Quote
worthy10 Posted Saturday at 16:43 Posted Saturday at 16:43 Pleased for barstow, took his goals very well, potent, need to keep him if possible. Eharahon looked strong and Johnston had a good 2nd half. Off day for Conway today, looked knackered and backed out of a couple of tackles. Our wingers frustrate by constantly cutting back inside. Sissoko is a bit of a laughing stock. We still look vulnerable when teams attack us, still waiting for a better team to have a go at us? Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted Saturday at 16:51 Posted Saturday at 16:51 I think their in a false position, their not a bottom of the table side. Having said that with a bit of luck we could have had four. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted Saturday at 17:06 Posted Saturday at 17:06 Started like a house on fire and the two goals from Burstow were real marks of quality. All got a bit sloppy from there and made it unnecessarily nervy at times. Not sure why we kept playing in to Burstow’s feet and then tried putting it in the channels for Dalby. Main thing is the three points and hopefully put a run together now. Quote
paulhanley Posted Saturday at 17:08 Posted Saturday at 17:08 Its the win that counts and we got it. We are in a handy position. We show enough to make us think we'll be in the play off mix come Spring but perhaps not yet enough to show we have it in us for top two re consistency and ruthlessness. Those issues manifest more away than at home though. For now let's park that concern until next week. Unbeaten at home still is enough reason for a few pints to slide down a treat later. Quote
