noxid Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Watching the England game having not watched them since the euros. It's just like watching Bolton. 65% possession, slow as fuck build up, playing in triangles like a training session as they try and grind out a win but then beaten by a counter attack with pace. It's like any life and individuality has been ground out of the players. Only Gordon showing any spark. Like watching paint dry. Quote

Yes utterly awful boring sideways and backwards stuff and it shows what a very poor team England are without Kane, absolutely no threat up top at all. Quote

deeane Koontz Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Folk seem to turn their noses up at him for some reason but Would rather have Welbeck in there for back up at the minute. Proper team player and is consistent. Quote

RUREADY2ROLL Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Sheehan 100% pass to one of his team. They play him in a funny position though. Toal almost scores but for a wonder save and was tidy throughout Quote

Presume its the same reason the FA Cup semis and play offs are at Wembley - bigger capacity, higher ticket prices, more corporate opportunities, just generally more lucrative for the FA. I'd rather the cup semis were moved rather than England games, not that they ever will be.
