Anyone watching the new Rebus? Not bad.

First episode was awful but thought it got better as it went on. Good one IMO.

Enjoyed the new Rebus. More like the books than the older TV shows in many ways.

Aye. Can’t imagine Ken Stott or that fella from 4 weddings being ex SAS

Earths Great Rivers on BBC2. I know it's a repeat but a brilliant set of episodes.

Which episode features the Croal?

OJ Made in America

Equal parts fascinating and infuriating

One of the best documentaries I've ever watched

What’s that on? Right up my street

Also, The Boys gets betterer and weirdiererer

sublime some of those Easter eggs/tributes

Saw it on iPlayer few years back, long but well worth it

Agree it's both fascinating and infuriating

That his trial basically became a race war, with the irony being he didn't really care much for black people and their struggle

Some of the stunts Johnnie Cochrane pulled were a disgrace, like putting all the African furniture in his house before taking the jury to it

The African ties in the courtroom

Mark Fuhrman was a strange character, a man who on many occasions used very explicit racist language but was aghast that people viewed him as a racist

Back when it happened I only knew him from the naked gun

Until I saw the documentary I had no idea how much of an NFL legend he was or general superstar once he finished playing football

Don't recall if it was in the documentary but originally he was lined up to play The Terminator

Not watched The Boys yet read all comics like.

Keep meaning to start it but Amazon is behind Netflix, Crunchyroll, Disney+ and the I Player in order of looking for something to watch. Usually found something to watch way before I get to Amazon.

I did but couldnt have told you why

The lead character is a reporter and he gets sent to cover oldham v bolton

The only match action isnt us, but we do get a mention

I’d only watch if covered by Geoffrey Greater Manchester😂

The Bear series 3 is on Disney - the first episode is amazing - Trent Reznor and Atticus what's his face basically soundtrack a mostly silent episode - it's absolutely beautiful. Anyway, get on it if you haven't already.
