DirtySanchez Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I live in the delusional hope that we will get out of this Yes there are teams like Boro and Wolves who can chuck £15m at a player to get out of the league. Then well established teams in this league like Derby and Sheff Wed who can chuck money around without needing parachute payments It's just that the likes of Barnsley and Burton, and no disrespect to them, do it on a very limited budget that gives me hope. But we all know what hope does! Though in an interview with Nigel Clough before Burton played Man Utd a couple of weeks back he said he liked the championship as Burton are underdogs in every match they play. Wait till they play us! Quote
jules_darby Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 It's the first week of October. I'm not calling down and out yetThat's the answer to a different question TBF mate Quote
tomski Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 That's the answer to a different question TBF mateWell by that I mean. 7 points or whatever it is, imo can be caught. Any bigger though and we are in trouble. I'm not convinced parky is the man to lead us in this division but as I like the bloke I live in hope he can turn this round Quote
Ani Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Blimey we should push for the international break to be a month. People will be talking us up a Champions by end of that. Quote
kent_white Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 We can't score; how can we win? Own goals? Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Own goals? All joking aside, we need a quick and dirty 1-0 or 2-1 win just to get it on the board. I don't care if it goes in off the ref, off a defender's arse, as long as it gets us a 1 in the "for" column, I'm all for it! Quote
MalcolmW Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 We can't score; how can we win? If the opposition have 5 players sent off they will forfeit the game (3-0?). Quote
MalcolmW Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I am very confident that we will score at least twice as many goals in October than we did in September. Quote
Guest Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 (edited) I am very confident that we will score at least twice as many goals in October than we did in September. Hmm....how many times 0 is 1? Edited October 5, 2017 by boltondiver Quote

MickyD Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 (edited) Didnt wanker warnock try this at one of his clubs Got down to 3 off I think. Sheff United Edit: I hadn't realised Warnock's team had two players injured sufficiently to have to hobble off. Edited October 5, 2017 by MickyD Quote

jturner Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Sam linked with the USA job sources said Allardyce feels that the U.S. can be restored to its previous position of dominance alongside Mexico in the CONCACAF zone, and regards the potential opportunity as a sporting one rather than financial.
