Mental innit

Going on like they've all watched him in that Irish league which is about non league level

I would sooner have a good right back and another winger

By way of analogy, I'm sure Usain Bolt could have run a 10 second 100 metres whether it was in the Olympics or the school sports day father's race.

I'm Johnny Fold Egg and Spoon champion 2022 - 2024.

I'm not beating Linford Christie

Yeah but in the Olympics other folk could run a similar time and stop him winning, fat dads at sports day not so much.

That didn't go very well for them as I recall....

Has taylor got pace ?    If so he comes in for Johnston who is not quick enough ,  simple as that.

I've no idea if he's got pace but even if he has I'd still like us to sign a centre-half

We have 4 though,  5 including inwood,    can't see one coming in unless a surprise is on the cards ( wouldn't put it past ss)

It's not about numbers, it's about ability

And I wouldn't be including Inwood as an option

Two things, we haven't lost so 4 draws on the bounce will be ok if we keep playing well and turn good performances into wins, big if I know but very possibly!

Secondly, we look a proper team, right pegs in n the right holes, so what I'm seeing is what SS is talking about and looks good, but we need wins. This is a step change from Evatt who I was never even sure if he watched the same game or just the tactics as played out in his mind!

The one issue is our left and right wings are out of kilter, on the left Conway is ripping it up but whoever in front of him isn't, and other way around on the right, ACD is but JDC or Tutu rarely seem be on the same wavelength.

With inverted wingers we need overlapping fullbacks who can deliver, that way we can go inside or out. That along with playing a 10, or two strikers gives us enough variation in the formation for most eventualities, we just need players to start making the key parts of the match count.

And finally, Toal, I thought people were over reacting with his performances last season, yes they were down, but he had injuries but I liked him. However he really has gone off this season too which is a shame. GJ always been up and down so no change there.

We all want a striker (rightly) but that defence is very average.

If it’s another winger can he make sure they can cross a ball rather then cut inside and go for goal ?

Indeed. If he isn't that type SS will be in danger of stacking up inverted wingers like Evatt stacked up socks down no 10s.

We need a proper genuine right back and more pace at the back

We swapped them today and they still did the same thing!

Sign as many strikers as you like but if the ball isnt crossed into the box, they ain't going to score. Duberry is only interested in trying to score spectacular goals.

Spot on don’t understand why SS isnt stopping him doing it .
