Youri McAnespie
Lidl were giving out Favorina Butter and Marzipan Stollen Cake for free t'other week - I took eight (it was near closing and there were boxes and boxes of the stuff and we were being encouraged, nay forced, to take eight if we could manage them)... I've already ate two of the c*nts. 3750 calories apiece - so roughly 800 calories or so a day just on scoffing this with every brew and after every meal... Been gym twice already this week and hammered the treadmill on a (minimum) 9% incline up to the max (15%), done about an hour or so - about 1200 calories or so burned... Comforting to know my efforts are somewhat countering my fat cuntery. I might give the other six away. Re: Zico and NIC - I've actually pushed mesen a bit more on your advice, there's always something left in the tank it seems - times have improved, maybe even more if I kick the stollen habit, although it's been somewhat disconcerting to see my heartrate above 170+ for quite longish periods (15% incline sections of the programme) If I peg it on the treadmill it's you twos' fault. Youri McAnespie
I'll get onto the blower to my solicitor tomorrow, do a Will rewrite. Consider them yours. kent_white
I have to say, getting up earlier or going out much later is the only way o can do it - 5.30/6 morning run for 30 mins. Evening runs 8 or 9 for an hour. Have you started running?

Youri McAnespie
how fast are you running at 15pc and for how long?!I do a 'cross country' programme and the 'peak' segments are 15% incline (the maximum) - segments are a minute and there's never more than two together so two minutes at peak...I usually drop the pace to around 7.4-7.6 (kmph?) on these peak segments although when I'm bollocksed toward the end I'll drop it to 7...I try and average 7.6-8 throughout the run depending on how often I've been training...Ivan Drago? I'd shit him, Stollen-power! When I've lost excess weight I'll lay off the treadmill and start diversifying and mixing it up - lest I turn into Bobby Sands, weights etc. Then get bored and start eating shite and being a lazyarse and repeat... Big E
I have started boxing. Can’t believe 6 minutes on a bag can ruin you for a day. Done some body sparring today I feel like I have been shot

Youri McAnespie
That's good thinking, I'll have three thin slices instead of a single doorstop.
Not in Crawley
Have you started running? No, been doing it for 18 months, I know it’s not as interesting as your hi karate ;-) To Youri - good to hear you are going full tilt, I’ve just recently cut back upon request of my other half and the kids (you’ve lost too much weight, running is boring etc etc) but like most, running pointlessly around in circles is not just about fitness or weight loss, it’s about focus and mental health. Keeps me bouncing off the walls with unspent energy (always been an early bird) so gives me focus on the day ahead. As I say though, find what works for you, Kent likes prentending he’s Bruce Lee in baggy shorts, I like being a middle aged cliche in leggings. Youri McAnespie
I, on the advice of NIC and Zico, in case I die, upped the ante again toneet - took the incline down a tad (7% min 14% max) and increased my average pace to 8.2... 'Climbed' around 1300m - which is just 118m shy of that Moroccan mountain that set of poofs on 'SAS - Are You Tough Enough?' took three hours to puff and wheeze up and down. Ok, so it wasn't 30c and I wasn't carrying a 50lb Bergen, but I think they should be ashamed of themselves. Even did some weights after. A bloke in the pub told me the received wisdom of 'don't mix cardio and weights' is a load of bollocks, so...
