Imagine finishing your holiday early just so you can be owned by a brown bloke with loads more money than you.

The brown bloke was the least of his problems. The hundreds of non backers made it pointless. And an upcoming investigation too.

I'm not convinced he ever was fully committed this time- reckon it was a toe in the water job, and it wasn't quite warm enough.

His best chance perhaps comes after the next election should an obliteration occur.

Then again, he may just prefer coining it in.

Everyone seems to have forgetten that the Conservatives lost nearly 500 seats in the Local Elections 6 months ago, while he was PM.

He’s probably a cross dresser though… that’ll be a first. 🤣

I don’t care what he dresses in as long as he is competent and isn’t constantly lying through his teeth. The bar is very low after the last three PMs.

Reckon Boris was a distraction to the fact that both potential leaders are dogshit poor. That said he's had meetings and probably realised they despite having the 100 MP's, there are 250 in the party that don't want him..

On the one hand we have Rishi.. as complicit as Boris with party-gate, got us into Billions of debt over covid, and is a smarmy little git.

The other is vastly underwhelming, makes out she's ex forces, and Joe public would fail to pick her out of a lineup as she's always been in the background.

As a party member it's going to be like asking someone how they want to get kicked in the balls, no matter which way we vote, huge chance of getting a shit leader..

That said, I like to be wrong about these things..

Johnson's out.

Smart move. Keep the powder dry for another day.

Let some other fucker struggle with the current world chaos and take the inevitable loss at the next GE and then the messiah returns for a thumping win.

That could be in 7 years time, when he's 65. Can't really see it

The Boris nonces over on Twitter are claiming he was never interested in doing it.

He cut his holiday short and dragged his family across the Atlantic (in economy) just so he could tell people face to face that he had no desire to be selected.

Hes a big bag of dicks

Sort of like he’s bullshitting again and some folk are still lapping it up.

Quite plausible given he didn't seem that interested in being PM first time round either

Also got all his allies to start saying how great it would to have him back.

The fact he struggled to get enough nominations means there is hope for the Tory party.

Twitter was invented for days like this, some people are genuinely upset.

There never will be another day for him, sorry to tell you. The country needs to rebuild with normal people in charge and not narcissistic lying self serving clowns. Ditto Trump.

According to Phillip Schofield on ThisMorning, BJ is claiming 104 supporters. Sunak  is claiming 150+ and Mordant 100+ so BJ’s figures are possible. The fact he’s pulled out “for the good of the party” says his claimed 104 is bullshit. He just doesn’t do stuff ‘for the good of…’ unless the remainder of the sentence is ‘Boris’.
