darwen_white
IoM can be seen from Darwen tower, as can Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Couple of season ago, I went in the home end at Huddersfield and could see Darwen tower from there.

Could someone do a layer by layer and from bottom of pic and top of pic and tell what it all is? Well up to tower, cloud cloud cloud Edited August 30, 2018 by Didledee

MancWanderer
There’s a pub called sea view in Chorley and yes you can see the sea out towards Southport. My 81 year old mother likes to take a trip out of a weekday with one of her old biddy friends for a spot of lunch. I highly recommended The Sea View to her with the opportunity of a view of the coast Disappointing that I have to report 'WWays In Fake News Shocker'
Mounts Kipper
My 81 year old mother likes to take a trip out of a weekday with one of her old biddy friends for a spot of lunch. I highly recommended The Sea View to her with the opportunity of a view of the coast Disappointing that I have to report 'WWays In Fake News Shocker' At 81 I’m surprised your mum can see across the road let alone a slither of sea 20 miles in the distance. And if the seas out in Southport you can’t see it from the beach.????

I highly recommended The Sea View to her with the opportunity of a view of the coast Disappointing that I have to report 'WWays In Fake News Shocker' i was told, that seeing the see from the pub was only achievable upstairs through the top left hand corner of the top left window. this was years ago, before Buckshaw was built, but its was a joke name based on the fact it was an inch square view of the sea that was visible in certain weather and when the tide was in. Site Supporter Alf Hartigan Posted October 31, 2018 Site Supporter Share Posted October 31, 2018 There's a point on Turton Golf Club, that on a clear day, you can see the following counties: GreaterManchester and Lancashire (obviously), Cumbria, Cheshire, Derbyshire, North Wales (Clwyd), Staffordshire, Merseyside, West Yorkshire and Cape Verde.
