Site Supporter Spider Posted May 22, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted May 22, 2020 Are we seriously at the point where someone has to ask the government to tell us how many people have been tested, rather than the government saying how many tests have left the warehouse? Seriously?

Whether you voted in or out he's moved the process along from its inertia. You must have been reading different news from me then as all the papers are saying that currently we have no deal and if anything we've gone backwards with "no deal" being odds on favourite now i.e. chaos at the ports, supply chain issues and price increases. As far as I can tell, there's been nothing other a grandiose gesture on Boris's behalf to say that we're definitely leaving (at some time in the future) but absolutely no progress whatsoever in negotiating future trade arrangements - only to be expected if you promise people they'll get what's on their wishlist rather than what's actually on the table. It’s really not in reality is i wonder if pigeonhole principle or some other weird thing has them doing two. dunno how or why . but it must be summat . We’re also saying that a person from one household can’t visit another or be visited by another. So no childcare by relatives or even an after-school type business. My point was who looks after the kids if the schools are closed? The work is no less essential so staying at home for the six week holidays isn’t an option. Moderators Casino Posted May 22, 2020 Moderators Share Posted May 22, 2020 I know I'm just thinking many working families depend on schools being open The fact their normal summer plans are out of the window will prob loom large in the headlights of this govt the day before the end of term

ZiggyStardust
I see that even with added hydroxy, the findings dont look too good: Seriously ill Covid-19 patients who were treated with hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were more likely to die or develop dangerous heart arrhythmias, according to a large observational study published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet. A compromise to satisfy both the EU and the bickering hordes in both Ireland and NI. Or better to build a big union jack wall along the border? No, you're just being ignorant or obtuse. Or both. You did watch the TV at some point presumably, when parliament voted in the withdrawal bill. The same one the EU also voted in. The one which was agreed after protracted negotiation between both parties. The one which allowed both parties to start trade negotiations. Now then, if a trade deal isn't agreed, then that in my view wouldn't be a good thing, but I believe it will be. Even if it's one that forms a skeleton, which has meat added later.
