Not sure about that, but technology certainly gets old very quickly - so you'd hope that we're (the UK and US) are palming off the old "shitty" stock, that would need to be replaced anyway?

Russia has been using a lot of WW2 artillery firing shells brought in from North Korea.

The problem with modern weapon systems is that as defences adapt they become less and less effective
