He started seven games after he came back from injury, scored three goals and assisted four. Scored the crucial goal against Bradford in the playoff semi-final and forced the own goal in the final. If that's him being very ordinary imagine him on form.
  2. too much worrying about friendlies, I'm just glad there's been no new injuries
  3. Actually quite pleased with that lineup. Giving the fringe players some good minutes. Trying a couple of the younger players. Positives.
  4. As with Doctors and Nurse, its a small world for Teachers If you dont pay em, get ready to lose em
  5. It is not just talking about IT. It is the opposite of shoe horning it is talking about offering relevant courses to the area , so preparing kids that want to work in local industries skills that match the industry, rather then thinking learning about Ox bow lakes is all that matters.
  6. At it again , amazing that all he is doing is talking common sense and ignoring three letter abbreviations and slogans BBC NewsSchools to offer technical subjects to pupils from age 14...The government wants pupils to take courses like AI and manufacturing which are linked to local jobs.

And that's fair enough, no issue, the time is the concern, we will need every one of the 46 games to try and accumulate 50 points. Not ideal if we essentially give two or three away in August because we're so short staffed.
  8. Nice enough evening out, especially as I could set off at 6.30 and was back in the house at 9.10 😊. Rodrigues is becoming our most important player, in the 20 mins he was on we looked some sort of football team. First half was a steady, pleasant enough non event, and more good experience for the young defenders and Ritchie. Start to second half was poor, as was the goal conceded, Harrington had looked ok but not the best on the shot. Last 15 we did enough to have won the game, our dithering in front of goal was painful. I'll start to feel for SS a bit if we can't get some striking and wing bodies in this week or at latest next. As we stand we're miles short of bothering even the weakest Championship defence.
  9. Aye . If youve been in the armed forces , police, paramedic, ICU & Theatres , the darkest of black humour is a coping mechanism and is part of the de-stressing process to keep your sanity hanging by a thread . I remember the in house jokes made about the little girl from Blackpool that choked to death on a grape (for example) . It needed to be done as we were all practically suicidal , the shift had to be finished and the next Blue light was on the way in . From the outside looking in you would have hated every single one of us . If someone made a joke about the Burnden 33 , I wouldnt find it funny , wouldnt laugh , and think what a wanker . But that would be all .

European countries need to get Fifa in the bin.
  11. Inwood’s head and shoulders the best player on the pitch so far. Ritchie too keen so looks anxious and it’s affecting his decision making. He just needs to relax. But he’s so agile, busy and gets into some great positions
  12. Second string, other than Dalby and Dong where we don’t really have a back up. Interesting to see how Ritchie gets on with some proper minutes.

iirc the asking gap was a lot less than that. Either way mistakes happen to every club. In that case we r'efused to be blackmailed'. Walked away from the deal .... & signed Marvin Sordell from Watford instead. Now that's was a poor exchange.g

No I refuse . Until he is in another teams shirt then he is coming back .
  15. Me neither but then again if I was being directly replied to and from Bradford I might be. It's not that for me, it's the pearl clutching and rank hypocrisy when he's wetting his knickers over an Ann Widdicombe meme.
  16. Worst. Job. Ever Pay the poor fuckers double.
  17. Tell him that you thank him for his offer of joining his cult but as a devout follower of the Great and Almighty BOL-TAN , The Ancient Wanderer and his Endless Army of Whyte Warriors led by the Saint Mackinglaye , it would not be a wise move as the "spirit community" has already been chosen for destruction and their doom has been foretold in the annals of the Holy Scriptures known as "The Leege" However should he instead wish to join the ranks of the Endless Whyte Army , a long and arduous road lies ahead filled with pain , suffering and the blood of our enemies. But rest assured the road ends in complete and total victory and dominance and the raising of the sacred CUP of Legends aLOFT in the HOUSE of all that is righteous ! Would you like to know Moore ? (Sorry , started the beer a bit early today)
  18. Might even have two :p

If the ACD fee is really only £5m we really do just have to match that, mortgage the next window on it as well if you have to. I just don't see how we lose money at that price in the current market.
  20. I quite like it really, feels like a middle ground between friendly and competitive. An EFL Intertoto Cup 😄
  21. I’ve posted on FB about my algorithms tonight. I’ve had in my first 5 things/posts A cow with snot being pulled out of its nose A caravan for sale In Morecombe A gypsy funeral Some meat head going on about civil war Harvey price Anyway, I think AB is making a few bold shouts at the moment. Genuinely want hiM to do well, still hoping Kemi comes good though.
  22. If i was brighton, id gamble on 5million being nowhere near his ceiling Another loan, maybe not with us, surely makes more sense
  23. How many times have we heard "He's fucking shit" after watching a new player for 45 minutes, and they turn out to be superb once they get settled? You knee-jerk idiots will never learn.
  24. Everyday making Blatter look like more of a saint 😂
  25. Said same to my lad he said who the fuck is Mcanespie.
  26. UEFA really dining out on not being the worst guys in the room anymore 😄
  27. Mate's just said exactly that. He's an odd shape for a footballer. Long body with short legs that favver they're on back to front.
  28. I’m going blind or the picture keeps going off every 5 seconds
  29. Me neither. Folk getting upset about hurty words or memes need to get a life really. I think it's the rank hypocrisy that folk are talking about here though.
  30. Very little at the minute, unfortunately. Kenny is as close as it's ever been, but who knows what that means. Think they are still after a keeper, the lad Ipswich have just signed is a potential option.
  31. Ha, cheers Gonzo, forgot to unmute it like a dummy!! 🤪
  32. Main TV camera has switched sides alert.
  33. Hoping temple and inwood aren’t our back up to farino toal and Davies . We need another experienced player . those 2 need a loan to league two first
  34. And he got Sordell instead! 😩😂
  35. Good recent example of this is Tolaj. I baulked at the £1.3M buy of someone who has never scored above L2 level.
  36. Rather not spend money we don't have.. We've been there before, and the after party's a bit shit
  37. Humanities posts? Geography teachers are like rocking horse poop atm, 26k bursary too. History teachers on the other hand.. well what else can you do with a BA in American studies You say 14 months, they've had a physics, science and computer science shortages for about 10 years. As for existing budgets being refocused, give over..
  38. his follow up: Hi Dave, I agree that my previous email was very strange, and I do not blame you for how you reacted. How that particular email was written and sent to you was not my personal preference. However, the spirit community or Deity required me to send you that email message because they know that you do not take the Spirit of Mind writings seriously. They are helping me write Spiritual Guide books for worldwide consumption, and so far I have written 4 books and Book 2 will be released sometime later next year, the others even later including a Book 5 to complete the Book Series. My Book 1, "A True Perspective", which is part of the website "spiritofmind.net" in PDF form, and also available from "Amazon.com" in book form, will educate people worldwide about what everyone's God actually is, which is not a mythological Supreme Being, and educate everyone about how our existence as a peoples really works, like why we all are here and what should we do, which you failed to comprehend and appreciate. Religions are passé now, very outdated using ancient mentalities that require upgrades to instead provide truths rather than mythology, untrue miracles, ancient superstitions, the ancient corruptions, and such, to begin advancing worldwide populations to much better places. They have given me the opportunity to provide real spiritual truths that everyone worldwide should know. Dave, you were given the opportunity to be part of something very big, and did not recognize that this project was not just business as usual. The spirit community knows that you have not communicated my Book 1 material enough, especially to your family and friends who would really appreciate that you do so. The spirit community as my advisors wanted me to let you know not to make decisions about my Book 1 just based on your own judgement for yourself, i.e. only what you personally want to believe, instead let people like your relatives and friends decide for themselves what they want to believe. It is always best to let people decide for themselves, especially about something that is this far reaching that affects everyone. Therefore Dave, I am just a tool that the Deity is now using to communicate very important truths to people worldwide through my book writings known as Spirit of Mind. I hope that you understand things better now, and my previous email was not meant to be personal, just informative. I will now consider our business arrangement for my websites concluded, and I appreciate what you have done to keep both my sites functional and running properly. Carl Fisher
  39. It says the subjects will be offered - like normal GCSE options - not that kids will be shoehorned in or forced to take them.
  40. Similar but campervans... Occasionally its rather attractive single women who want to meet fellow van owners, strangely they always appear to only own thong bikini's , and wear them regardless of where they are. Asked the wife if she wanted to meet up with a few of them, for some reason she wasn't happy with that suggestion... very strange
  41. speaking german? late to the game in WW2 and since then get involved where they shouldn't, leaving places in a worse, or certainly no better, state than when they arrived feel free to share some "wins" or "success stories"
  42. Only if the cheerleaders will be there please.
  43. Great memories and great kids tv. Mind you, this episode never got screened, for some reason.
  44. As owner, if he keeps getting these massive moves every other year.
  45. They were literally bombing nothing. Wasteland that had already been bombed minutes earlier, because Hegseth and Trump wanted to break a record for the most bombs dropped in a day. So they could brag about it.
  46. I don’t see anything political at all on Facebook. Probably because I don’t search for anything anywhere I get news from MEN, BEN and Oldham Times Sport from BWFC, F1, Rugby League and cricket Music from 70s punk stuff, ska and adverts for local events along with theatre ads Local shite from local groups Videos of boats unloading cargoes of pebbles and sand Probably reflects my online searches (apart from the cargo ships which I’m now addicted to) so the algorithm works OK for me on Facebook. I didn’t do Twitter or TikTok
  47. Unfortunately - this is probably the case. It matters less what you actually achieved these days - and more how it's perceived on social media. The flip side to that is - there's a huge number of people who can't reason past what party someone represents. There's at least as many wind up merchants behind anonymous accounts. And at least as many bots too. A platform like Facebook is unrecognisable to the fun way to keep in touch with friends and family it used to be. It's a horrible company - with a despicable algorithm.
  48. Barry and his mate fitted me in for a flat move for my elderly mother at very short notice today. Great lads, great service and reasonably priced. Would recommend. Only drawback was Barry's mate being a red!
  49. You can’t read my posts, but fuck it. It’s the third time you’ve used that phrase on this board in reference to the Bradford fire, previously calling the comment sick but funny and quick witted. You also used it on the Grenfell fire thread. It takes an insensitive prick to use the phrase, but a complete twat to deny it. Man up and admit it and offer an apology.
  50. Whilst not condoning the comment in isolation we've got to remember that this forum often has crass comments made about someone else's suffering. Not many of us can hold our hands up and say we've never made or laughed at a comment about a certain plane crash and many other incidents where folk died. I've written and deleted this three times now. Sick humour used to be par for the course.
