Like a spring day - 15C. 1,400 or 1,500 isn’t too bad and with an allocation of 1,850, it won’t be too far off a sell out. Quote
radcliffe white Posted February 17, 2023 Author Posted February 17, 2023 Not bad considering the run of aways we’ve had, in some ways I’m not overly arsed if accy beat us as still few more distance aways to go Quote
jeep Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Wycombe Wanderers 1 Bolton Wanderers 2 Big Vic & Santos..... Evatt out................ Quote

DaveTheRave Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 1-0 Charles Come On You Whites!!! Quote
Spider Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 For the first time in ages, it honestly feels like we have 15/16 players prepared to run through walls for the shirt and the manager. So every game feels like it’s not just winnable, it’s just a question of the margin of victory. So based on that, I’ll go 1-0 Wycombe today. Quote
true white Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 0-1 win late Vic goal. Fantastic this league. Loved it this season. We are winning most weekends, playing fantastic football, loads of good players. Fantastic owners. Life’s great being a Bolton fan. Coywm. Quote

Ha, know the feeling but I’m genuinely starting to believe this team is something special and whilst I’d love to be optimistic/crazy enough for another five niller I’d settle for 1-3 to the Whites and proof we’re now the real deal. I just hope IE leaves the team the same and doesn’t feel the need to tinker with it? Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I’d take a 0-1 another one off Santos arse will do. Quote
Benny The Ball Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Even though we go to Hillsborough in a few weeks I think this will be our toughest game in the run in. Wycombe are in similar form to us and beat Derby last weekend 3-2 In fact their only defeats in the last 3 months are at home to Sheffield Wednesday and at Plymouth So whilst I am hoping for and think we are capable on our day of a win I think a draw would be a decent result today Cannot see any of our 4 main rivals dropping points today either But Barnsley and Peterborough have tricky away games COYWM Quote
MickyD Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I do like the colour coded results on the current EFL1 form table with Bolton the only 5/5 team. Quote

I hope you don’t come on here if we lose with him having made some understandable changes (ie Bradley coming back in), expressing some amazement and expert knowledge that the side should have stayed the same. Equally get on here if Bradley plays and we win and give Evatt some credit. Surely now you are aware that Evatt and his team will have been doing detailed analysis on Wycombe, looking at their weaknesses and strengths and matching us up with the side he feels will get the points? Spider Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Rotation is a key, and successful, policy right now. Quote

Evatt has more than enough credit in the bank to tinker however he sees fit, especially away from home against a side, on a good run of form, who are well versed in the dark arts. I'm going for a 2-1 win, from behind. Victor with a brace. Quote
Rizlar Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I reckon Jerome if fit will play some part in this game he loves a physical battle . Quote

I do trust Evatt desperado and if he chooses to make changes to the team then we of course have to accept he knows more than us but even allowing for that, a team that’s just won 5-0 twice on the run surely deserves to stay together? What does it say to Jones if Bradley walks straight back in after Geths superb performances in that position, or even moves him to LWB displacing Declan John after he’s made such a difference? Personally I don’t believe he’ll make any changes but if he does I’ll come back and comment on what I see whether it’s good or bad, that’s what this forums about isn’t it? Opinions. 🤔 Quote

We’d got away from this slowly slowly crap whilst he was out but as soon as he’s back it starts again. Trafford rolls it to him in plenty space and he just stands there with it until the attackers close us down then has to lump it forward to nobody. Williams likewise it’s just all too pedestrian now with these two. Don’t try to deny you have history - you’re quick to claim what should/should’ve happened and often get it wrong. Quote

History? Deny what? I post what I think and if it’s not what you think tough. What makes you the arbiter of what’s right and not. Just post what you think and leave others to do the same, ok? Quote
