  • The title was changed to Reading (H)

This is one of those horrible situations where the opposition have lost three out of their first three and their next match is against .... Bolton. The cynical football fan in me fears the worst and you'd have to suspect Reading will prove much better than the start they've had. Making light work of grabbing three points on Wednesday night would be very encouraging.

Are our midweek games now fixed for Wednesday's ?

No just this one as it's the main featured game on Sky, as opposed to just being on the red button

Rest of the league play Tuesday

A bit annoying to have a Wednesday league game followed by a Saturday one.  Lincoln will be pleased.

I'm guessing we'll see a lot of changes that don't necessarily reflect our perceived best 11 (whatever that is).

I bet SS is desperate for Dalby to play some part because its hard to see Burstow playing 90 odd minutes twice in quick succession.

I thought Burstow was goosed after 75 against Barnsley.

We,ll piss it,  I,m going 3-1 victory.

Derek Scott looks 30 years younger than he sounds.

                       TSL

Tutu.       Toal.   Johnston.    Conway

                    Erhahon

             Simons.      Morley.
ACD.                                            Gale

                     Burstow.

Just my personal preference to go with 3 in midfield. Think for SS it will be a toss up between Mcatee and Randall to play behind Burstow.

I think Tutu will have another run-out at RB. Cissoko to come off the bench again.

Amazing isn't it. I'd literally not heard of 6 of these until a month or so ago. 7 if you include Cissoko.

Tutu should never be starting ahead of cogley, huge difference in their ability

Shocked me that he see’s him more of a FB than a winger / wing back. I wouldn’t say his greatest asset is his defensive work. If anything I thought he would’ve been seen as a winger with someone in behind him doing the defensive work.

Same here, apart from Erhahon - and the only reason I knew him was because he got a second yellow straight after the half time whistle at our place last season.

I just have a sneaky feeling SS might think differently

I’m the same.

It’s no surprise that it’s not all magically clicked into place yet.

Plenty of good signs to be positive about.

TBF we have a bit of a history of underestimating teams like this and getting punished. But equally SS needs a win so might not tinker too much. If we get the first goal (and don’t immediately concede ourselves) I reckon we’ll be fine, but we really don’t want to give them any encouragement and have to chase the game.
