Sheff Wed have a good chance of having a points deduction now that the potential buyers have pulled out. I'm not wishing it on them as they deserve a break, but they have plenty issues. WBA and Leicester different kettle of fish, looks like one of them will come down and probably do a Cardiff. Fair points and agree with Oxford. Never know with the Wednesday situation, I thought Cardiff were in financial trouble (granted not in admin) and Derby weren’t exactly flush, but the big teams seem to still be too good for L1. A few other points from watching the EFL show - there seems to be loads of goals scored from corners. I’d love to see some stats but I’d bet that this season has seen materially more than normal scored across the leagues. - Kevin Lisbie’s lad at Posh is mustard. I’ve took note of him because of who his dad is and he seems to score or create every time I see him. - Port Vale’s pitch looks like something from the 80s, it makes PNE’s look like Wembley! - Evatt is as deluded as ever Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Unless Wednesday get a good takeover, fairly quickly, with decent money to spend, then their squad is going to be light on experience. Quote

bwfc2003 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 If ref gives a pen for denying goal scoring opportunity is that not just a yellow rather than red under "double jeopardy" Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Defender definitely had a little pull. Utd player maybe made a meal of it. Soft, yes, but still a foul for me. Started outside the box, and continued in. How that equates, in terms of pen or free kick, I don't know. Presumably, where it ends. Quote

DazBob Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I watched a bit of the Leeds v Man City game. Leeds fans booing what there was a 1 minute break to allow the Muslim players break their fast. Lovely bunch. I'd like to think Bolton fans would never do that, Quote

gonzo Posted March 2 Posted March 2 No different from keepers going down 'injured' so we can have time outs. Quote
