I fairness, he can't predict penalty misses or a good bit of keeping.

He can influence how to finish a team off at one nil up though

I didn't think they were particularly bad in that regard.

Fair play to Croatia, they stuck at it and scored a fine goal themselves.

Biggest issue today was that Brazil didn't or couldn't impose their supposed superiority upon the opponents.

Croatia are technically fantastic, add to that battle hardened experience and a great team spirit then you have a formidable opponent.

Well they were as they lost

Brozovic was a red card waiting to happen, have players take him on

Croatia keeper has a good game and penalties are always a lottery

But Brazil could have put it all to bed earlier

TBH I’m being a little bit facetious.

I don’t profess to be a scholar of the international game and I really couldn’t tell you too much about Tite.

I actually agree with you, penalty misses and good keeping are out of a managers control.

But as said above if he’s as good as some say he is, finding a way past the quarters and finding the tactics/combinations to beat Croatia will be the very least the Brazil public will be criticising him for.

Bit odd, did you have money on Brazil?

The rest- yes, that's pretty much what I said. They weren't good enough to impose themselves.

Same as England and Southgate in fairness.

I've no idea how good he is- didn't know who he was before the tournament started.

No, don't gamble so not interested in that side of things

Just saying in response to your comment that Brazil manager can't help missed penalties, that he could have finished the game off from the position they were in

Which prior was your response to him maybe not being a master tactician

Main penalty taker taking the fifth one. Fucking stupid.

Apparently, there's some science/probability behind havig your best penalty takers take 1-3-5.

Obviously, it doesn't work if you don't make it to number 5. 😁

60,000 Argies WTF?

Though it was a poor country?

Haven't a load of locals adopted teams hence a bigger number of fans in Argentina shirts

The Messi factor as well

Not everyone in Argentina is poor either

Oh i know they have their share of Bourgeoise.

I still smell a rat with the amount of Argies at this tournament - 6000 miles from Qatar.
