There’s our issue no experience even less now with Jerome and Bod leaving we need some experience in our team when needed and some bloody bottle not disappearing when the going gets tough !!

Wasn't JCH lack of playing time due to Peterborough having a policy of selling players when they reach the last year of their contract if they don't sign a new one?

He wouldn't sign one and they didn't have any takers or he wouldn't leave so they would rather play without him

They do have that policy but I think he might've been struggling for game time anyway

A fair number of our squad have got a lot of games under their belt now including promotions so lack of experience shouldn't be a problem.

It's lack of belief or bottle in big games which is the issue - or if that isn't an issue, lack of talent

I bet they're counting the days till they can return to the glory days of finishing bottom of the championship 😀

Regarding those players getting in their 1st XI, they would probably say the same about our squad - how many of our's would get in their team?  We've no idea is the answer because we don't have a clue about their's. 

But I'd have JCH in our squad FWIW, as you say he wasn't first choice but he still scored more than Vic in league & cup, who was 1st choice for most of the season.

Not sure that's a negative is it?  Derby didn't exactly go for youth.

Most supporters were praising the quality of our signings in the January window this year, but complained about our poor form after that. All good and well Rotherham making these signings, but it means nothing until we see where they are come December. 

Agree that JCH probably has his best years behind him, and knows Championship is beyond him now, so doubt he'll be 'going the extra mile' to get promoted. Rotherham will do ok with Evans in charge, but they'll be a Play Off bet at best I'd expect.
