Hope so

No issue with being cautious but having read some thoughts by the people who developed the vaccine, it does look like Covid has followed the pattern and become more infectious but far less dangerous.

Imagine if we had a vaccine as well.

Not that easy due to the enforcement aspect. 

When your staff are threatened for asking, then you automatically tell them not to put themselves into danger, and generally let it go.

Most people are fine, it’s just the minority as usual.

Hmm I thought it was much-a-do about nothing but I'm a bit concerned from a few threads I read on twitter this morning by people who generally know whats what with this stuff. Still too early to say with the data though.

I don't think they even started with "full on scare mode"  give it another week or so, they'll start really ramping it up. Asking for vaccination certificates for pubs and restaurants.....or the very least, masks in all settings/situations

A mask isn't an issue and anyone who says it is should be tarred and feathered for being more woke than the folk they generally complain about being woke despite them not even knowing what woke means.

I think it’s just to head off the Labour Party calls for more severe restrictions & cover their arses given the number of previous mistakes they’ve made.

Went to watch Malaga cf yesterday, and the same every match it's mandatory to wear a mask inside the ground even though the stands are uncovered.

Genuine question, how many wear masks at Wanderers games, where it isn't mandatory.

no, I've got the covid 19 track and trace app which shows test results, but not done a test recently

didn't know about the covid pass app (or maybe I've been told but not got round to installing it as never needed it)

since I've been vaccinated, this is the first time I've needed to show owt, which I had anyway

when I went to Nick Cave at Bridgewater they said to bring proof of a negative test, which we did, but then never got asked to show it at the door and went straight in

I don't have the track n trace but do have the nhs one with the covid pass, the Academy in Manchester were turning folk away the other week when I went.

Re Dave Gammon, one of our minimum wage wallers asked someone to put a mask on today, even gave them a mask. The bloke took it and tried to put it on vertically rather than horizontally.

 Cover their arses is a reasonable description. What we've been saying, a reasonable approach to keep a sense of caution, against a backdrop of being "open".
