  2. One thing you wanna do away from home is to kill the other sides momentum. Key bit of doing that is keeping hold of the ball. No one does that better than Sheehan. by all means put in Simon’s and/or Erhahon at the side of him, but taking him out and your inviting wave after wave of pressure
  3. It doesn't sit well with quite a few on here and loads on social media, but Josh Sheehan is our best player and that's why he plays every game. Yes, some of the loanees have done well, but they're not ours.
  4. In a crunch game that like that...I'd start Rob Hall.
  5. EFL put out an "all you need to know about the play offs" article yesterday. Apart from the ko times for the finals 😀

  7. Where I’m at with Bradford. Didn’t want them at Wembley so this is nearly the next best thing. All 4 teams are hit or miss and have been bang average at times. On the day will win this.
  8. Sheehan plays at Wembley whatever formation SS goes for

To be fair to Labour they have done well regarding the boats in Salford. I’ve not seen any dinghies in Salford quays or Worsley canal.

Very much this, the reasons for choosing who you vote for at National and Local level should be very different.
  12. Fit or not he's also not done enough to suggest he's our best option anyway. Last three appearances... Wycombe (h) - Taken off after 64 minutes (score 0-2) Rotherham (a) - Taken off after 45 minutes (score 0-2) Port Vale (a) - Taken off after 61 minutes (score 0-1) We've kept three clean sheets with him in the side - Wimbledon, Northampton at home (shit result, hooked after an hour) and Mansfield away (vs ten men). Doesn't scream defensive solidity and can't do half of what RR does going forward.

Taking this to its logical endpoint, if you vote Reform you are backing Fagash’s view that we should move to an insurance based healthcare system. Therefore everybody living in a constituency with a Reform MP should be immediately denied access to the NHS

On our local Facebook page there is a pretty high % who are voting to get rid of Kier. We have a Liberal Councillor at the moment and we get a newsletter of them every 2 or 3 months saying what they are doing and asking what else they should be doing. The rest we are lucky if they can even be arsed during election week. It is a bit of a stereotype but I have always thought of Liberals as a bunch of well meaning busy bodies, which is pretty much the job description for a local Councillor.
  15. We'd try to do what we've done in all the other games we've been behind in, and equalise. Course it might not work, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. As @desperado says, its all opinions and none are more valid than others, mine is just that our normal game would only change if its a shit or bust situation where one team is 3 up or 3 down, where its obvious one goal by the team 3 up finishes the tie. If as expected there's 1 goal in it, SS will just play his normal game IMO which is to be on the front foot, to get at least a draw, same as any other away game. If we want to question tactics for away games fair enough, I'm just suggesting that SS won't change his beliefs as to his preferred method of getting a result (win or draw). I agree, see where we're at after the 1st leg, we've gone early on this 😀
  16. We, as a team, don't play particularly well on bad pitches, mainly because we're a possession-based passing team. Dropping Sheehan on a bad pitch won't make us any better. Plus for what it's worth, that pitch at Bradford is far from being a cow field. Yeah, there's a couple of bare patches near the byline in front of the Dallas Stand, but it's nowhere near as bad as some of the pitches we've played on.
  17. This is the exact reason Erhahon shouldn’t be thrown in. Considering the wider point of dropping Sheehan, if anything was to be changed from the Sheehan/Rodrigues partnership partnership, it would be Rodrigues. While his fitness has improved greatly over the last couple of months, only Sheehan has the engine to go for 90 minutes. And the best replacement for Rodrigues is Dempsey.
  18. Of course I want change. I want us to stop conceding preventable goals when we don’t give up too many chances and take more of the multitude of chances we create. But I don’t pretend to know all the answers to sort that out. And let’s be honest, neither does anyone else on here. Everybody on here has been around football for decades, it doesn’t validate us knowing what the answers are to sort out BWFCs promotion to the Championship. It’s a fan forum, your opinion, zogs opinion, my opinion are just hot air - no ones is any more valid than the others, which is I why I find it strange when folk are so adamant that they (think they) know the answers. I’ll pass opinion on what I think should happen if I have a strong opinion on it or if I get asked, so happy to come back on what you asked above. I agree with you on the home leg, as we are, 4-4-2, Johnston in for Conway, Dalby for Burstow - there you go changes 😊 The away leg, I’m not so sure. I wouldn’t be against the extra midfielder, especially if we are protecting a lead. But I think there’s also merit going as we were if we performed well in the 1st leg. Too early yet to say what could/should happen in that away tie. And I definitely don’t think Sheehan should be sacrificed at Wembley, nor should he play at the expense of a winger - my opinion, probably different to yours. But I’m not going to say that’s categorically what should happen, nor should you or zog, when you have an alternative opinion. 😊👍

Wouldn't surprise me if there's a further twist or two to come. That last moment Doku goal might turn out to be huge. Arsenals to lose now. A scrapping West Ham a potential banana skin?
  20. Good for you. 👍 Unfortunately, I will continue to point out your stupidity on here regardless of your needs.

  28. We don’t play with Wing Backs. Tutu has worked hard this year, but isn’t good enough as a full back or winger. We’ve stumbled into fifth place and it’s time to be ruthless, whichever league we’re in.
  29. Won't matter to us
  30. Keep Tutu is a decent squad utility mon. Need 2 first choice fullbacks and 2 proper centrebacks in the summer.
  31. Actually I’ll caveat that after reading fully. It includes theirs so 14 done got an email off the club to an old email address which I must’ve used previously. Says on there
  32. I never have and never will take any ridicule from Wigan fucking athletic fans.
  33. Just another thing on going there "protecting a lead". What happens if they equalise in the first 10 minutes? 3 subs and change of formation? Its not happening.

  36. Any returns will never quite be the same unless we want back to Reebok, both as manufacturer and sponsor. It wasn’t a bad attempt the other year, but the Home Bargains sponsor ruined it.
  37. He can obviously answer for himself but on this, EE hasn't played a single minute of football for over six weeks and as far as we know is still injured
  38. A lot of what Zog says i usually[not always] agree on. Not a clue who he is but like me i suspect he has been around football for decades. You do not have to have played in the football league to have a good understanding of the game. I wont come on here and say my opinion is right, it is only that my opinion....Desparado can you tell me why you would put Sheehan in a midfield two in the second leg if we are protecting a lead......I would play Erhahon and RR.....It would be RR and Sheehan at home and Wembley. If Sheehan was to get a shirt at Bradford it would be at the expense of a winger in a midfield three. Zog offers alternatives as i have there, it is you that never seems to want change. And yes i could be wrong as i say just my thoughts.......All the shit in the world can be written on this forum it will not alter SS thinking one iota
  39. Firstly, you misquoted me. But that aside, I’m somehow not surprised that the type of people you hang around with are laying the blame on the EU rather than the 52% who voted for Brexit. I dare say it’s imbecilic. Turkeys voting for Christmas springs to mind when I think of you. Gobble gobble.

I expect Arsenal to win the league, but that point COULD be crucial if Arsenal slip up. What a game Fair fucks to Everton too. They’ll be gutted but they played their part in a cracker.

  42. Again if the doctor told you to chop your own finger off would you do it? Who are you to judge what he's told you? you're not a doctor. My takes have been bulletproof, i was right about Evatt, while you guys were talking about giving him an extra year in Jan 25. I was right about us being able to turnover those Evatt players, I was right about SS's implimentation of 4231 being inconsistant. I was right about Dalby not being the carthorse everyone on here thought he was. All things the likes of you said were incorrect or in some cases impossible. You want me to go on?

Chelsea are the laziest team I have ever seen at this level. Not a single player works hard 11 millionaires out for a knock about. Total lack of effort. This post maybe influenced by my gambling today ! 🤣😂
  44. Our biggest weapon is our wingers and energetic forwards. We’re not going to rip that up by playing defenders in unfamiliar roles Having Conway on the left wing will not help us defensively. It will just cost us offensively. We are susceptible to that big diagonal ball on transitions. We have been all season. I agree it needs sorting, but playing 2 left backs and having less going forward will weaken us
