Derby will be dependant on getting the transfer embargo lifted or they could be screwed. Barnsley seem to have off field issues and Peterborough are nothing special imo.2 likes

It used to be great, now it just tastes boring and crap the independent chicken places do better tasting food. The gravy used to be brilliant too. We used to scrape the dripping from the bottom of the hot cupboard where all the racks of chicken were stored to add to the mix when I worked at the Middlebrook one and it tasted great, now it's just all generic powdery rubbish. The pepper mayo from the Twisters is a big miss too, glorious stuff. A staff meal favourite: fillet/zinger tower without the bun, tightly wrapped in a twister tortilla and dunked in the deep fat fryer, Fillet Tower pasty. 💥1 like

Aye, candle light vigil as well. Thank fuck they can't now get the quad, we would never have heard the end of it. I don't even think they'll get the treble.1 like

Great day of football, plenty of twists, and no scouse wankathon. Almost worth a wank in itself.1 like

We were embargoed so long coz we didn't clear a specific debt ... not because we'd HAD that debt. That's why Wiggin came out soending wildly last summer. Derby are a bit more like us in that respect. The purchase hasn't yet happened, they've missed several deadlines. The purchaser is reluctant to cover all debts ... including the minimum 15p in the £ to non-football debtors. He plans to 'negotiate' payments with the Inland Revenue (!!). He won't own the ground & could yet have to play outside Derby. Then there's the continuing story that the sponsors, not the club, paid Rooney this season. Oh, & Wycombe"s claim against them is still not settled ... &, after yesterday, that'll be all the more aggravated. They're already under constraints on what they can spend on new players.1 like

Agreed. For example I had never heard of iredale before we signed him. And unlike others I don’t feel the need to go on wiki and the regurgitate on here like I’m a football scout in the making and had heard of him when clearly they hadn’t but I trust that he’s a bloody good player because we wouldn’t of signed him. Thing for me is we have a proper footballing identity now and whilst it has its flaws (see fleetwood on a rainy Tuesday) it’s great to be able to believe in a manager again.1 like

I’ve always had decent touch for a big lad, so it’ll suit me if I ever get to play it… mind you when I mention it to lads I’ve played with they say I’ve been playing walking football since I was 25. 🤣1 like

I am a big fan of the idea of walking football. I imagine the standard is fairly decent as the touch is the last thing to go1 like

We really have some brain dead fans.Just over heard 2 so called bwfc fans saying Evatt should go because he's a bully and it's his way or know way and we should pay Dapo want ever he wants, his tactics are all wrong for this league and we should be signing proven championship/prem players God give me strength1 like

We were losing against the top teams until January. Then we started drawing with them, MK & Plymouth (still don't know how we didn't at least draw that one) aside. So we did progress but need to be beating them regularly if we want promotion.1 like

The only thing I care about is winning games. Not arsed who the opposition is nor their following. Sunderland being a big club, with undoubted player pulling power have gone now, so I can only see it as a positive. That said its what we do that will ultimately count.1 like

Wycombe keeper's website is a Partridge-eque work of wonder. https://www.davidstockdale13.co.uk/1 like

Started wanting Wycombe to win but Sunderland far the better side and after some further additions in the summer would have been certs for the automatics, so in the end I’m glad they’ve won and with that amazing fan base they really shouldn’t be in L1 anyway. That’s hopefully one less for us to worry about next season anyway.1 like

I wonder how many on here have moaned that their boss is a cock & never thanks them or says anything good to, or about, them. Brookbank's parents are lifelong Bolton fans & season ticket holders in ESL since we went to the Reebok. Can't say for certain he supports Bolton but think he does. Met Mrs B a few times. No-one could have been prouder of him breaking through.1 like
