He's still under contract, so unless we hear any different we have to assume he's going to be our manager next season.

I don’t want to assume I want to know and so I’m sure do FV and the players. He’s caused the confusion by saying he was thinking about the future so surely he should come out and clear it up asap?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Evatt turned up at Burnley. They’ll have plenty of compo burning a hole in their pocket, win/win I reckon. He gets to try his luck in the Championship playing the ‘Citee’ style just like Kompany did. We get cash to tempt a manager that wouldn’t normally come to League 1.

Surely they'd be more likely to look at someone like Potter or Cooper than a League 1 failure?

If you're the fan of a championship club you're looking at Evatt with constant progression on his CV. Young, bolshy and likes to play the right way etc.

5th and 3rd finishes with a team who nearly went bust a few seasons ago. Dragged us from bottom half of league 2 to 90 minutes or a few points from promotion...

Not many championship chairman will have been at Wigan or Blackpool away.
