Even if only used on certain occasions it'd have garnered us enough points to have been up a week or two ago. We were so much more effective, far fewer hairy moments, limiting them to so little but still looking dangerous on the counter. We made the uncomfortable and played in behind, could've been out of sight at 2-0. I think this is the best evidence yet of Evatt showing a plan B and adapting. We could have still been miles better on the ball, however that was some result. Tuesday night, let's sell the place out, no pressure, play our game and smash them to pieces. COYWM! Stig Posted May 3 Share Posted May 3 Cameron Jerome turning into my favourite player. He's too old clearly, but had a level of ability far above most of the strikers at this level and is just a solid professional. If Evatt can get him in his coaching staff long term that would be great. Back to the game, Charles showed us exactly what we've been missing. His link up play is terrible, but his runs in behind and pressing of the opposition are exceptional. Still a bit nervous about the home leg but an early goal will kill it. Sung solidly for about 20 mins before kick off, it’s a belter! Atmosphere tonight was one of the best I’ve seen for a while. Probably to be expected considering the result and importance of the game but even before kick off it was buzzing. Great game, brilliant result, Santos in that form is too good for this league.
