That Wycombe move makes no sense at all!

Bloody mad Friday as well.

There'll be bugger all there.

That's the Chrimbo jolly boys scuppered then.

Imagine finishing work that Friday lunchtime, colleagues and mates all heading to the pub, and you getting in the car instead, to drive to Wycombe!

Hard core only that night.

It's a bit weird the way it's worded. Is there another "round of picks" before the season starts?

I didn’t get this either, the blurb when deal was done was 24 games would be screened for each Championship club. We’ve got six in first half of season so far up to Jan 4th.

It includes weeknights, bank holidays, opening day and final day

That 24 probably includes all the midweek games shown on red button

Gives us an excuse to finish work early for Christmas. Hampton by Hilton for £85, free cancellation and includes breakfast. Should really have been announced sooner though.

T’other two were always going to happen, I suppose. Colls being at home on the day of the Latics one should stop me going on the piss at least.

Apathy.

I get that it’s 5.30pm and Charlton is a few weeks later, but it’s the first game of the season and not a big allocation.

That play off final defeat has done more damage than I think people realise. I’ve said it before but there’s no credit in the bank, there’s no leeway being given this season, we either start well or it’ll turn sour quickly.

Spot on that

The usual suspects will be there, that's why there should be a priority scheme, apathy can wait down the queue.

You also missed out that the trains are expensive due to the abysmal prospect of being surrounded by Mancs all day!

You’re quite right. I don’t really agree with it as much when everyone wants to get to every game when we’re flying high but some use the card of “I went to Plymouth on a Tuesday night” - that to me is more just a case of someone being in a life position to do it.

In this case though, other than the train price point you mention (although that was the same in a lot of cases last year when we still sold out) I really do think it’s a case of people not really being up for it, not the same buzz that all and sundry want to jump on the bandwagon and therefore those that do go are in that category that should be prioritised if and when tickets are tight because they’re there regardless of the situation (and I’m not in that camp just to be clear - I only do 6-8 aways a year at the mo).

Not sure you can add that kind of rationale to any kind of priority system though, it seems it’s hard enough to just get one based on matches attended, never mind overall fan base mood at the time being factored in 😂

It comes in to its own once it’s been implemented over a sustained period. A good example is probably the cheaper tickets for the Euros final that went to people with the most ‘caps’

The deeper we go into this season and (hopefully) find ourselves right in the promotion mix the more games will get moved and the more folk will question whether to renew their ST, having had a quarter or more of the homes moved to times that are a ball ache.

If we go up though, interest in seeing us in the Champ will no doubt outweigh that and STs will still go well. It's worse in the Champ though, I know a Blackburn ST holder whose last Sat 3.00 home was in the middle of March.

Blackburn now have Watford & Cardiff away 12.30 ko, I think you will see numbers drop all over now

Southampton on 6th April and Coventry 27th April were both 3pm Saturday (sorry for being pedantic 😀).

The only other home game in April was moved to Sunday for TV (Sheff Wed).

It’s heading towards a non-spectator sport with kick-off times severely affecting the social aspect.

Away fans are absolutely crucial to a match day experience IMO.

I can see an increase in home wins across the board, as away fans dwindle.
