Our Government can barely cover up a gathering with drinks and snacks nevermind the rigging of climate records in order to indoctrinate the general public in to thinking the globe is melting.

You're missed on that platform of pish.

Important to never forget that chemtrails are the NWO seeding clouds with heavy elements to heat up the earth with artificial global warming.

I managed to put that to one side in my mind, got in from work, got pissed, burned my hands cooking bbq food no-one wanted, and am now listening to Ed Wynne's latest in t'backyard. Highly recommed lying down, looking at the sky and giving it a go.

I've driven just over 400 miles today, twice I was stuck behind gritters. Apparently they're gritting to stop the roads melting

I did the same distance without the gritters.
It’s on days like that you realise how good air con is.

Reet then. As a regular traveller through the Middle East, how is that the runways at Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi don't melt every year?

Are we using inferior tarmac?

Can’t be that

Beautiful British tarmac. Best in the world.

How often do their runways need to perform at -5?

I asked a customer the other day, as they do a load of work with the VMS signs on public highways. It's apparently down to the fact we do use a different type/grade of asphalt (I think) - the British stuff isn't made to withstand extreme heat, because generally it doesn't need to. We make ours so they can cope with surface temperatures of -20C to +30C, and in other countries, they work go for -5C to +50C. I started to glaze over at that point, but it's something to do with the chemical composition of the asphalt/tarmac. The foreign stuff is more expensive though 🙂

As an aside, from the same meeting, I did also find out that solar panels are a bit shit in extreme temperatures, and their efficiency can drop by as much as 25% in heats like we experienced the other day

Excellent scientific response. Cheers mate.

I thought it had to be something along these lines. Thought of changing your moniker to Yosser Hughes?

Same with the railway lines apparently. Bloke on the news earlier in the week explained that the steel is designed to withstand particular temp ranges.

They may have to adjust the range but the cost to replace would be rather high

Which is why the roads and the rails won't be changed - we'll just grind to a halt for a few days every few years, and then crack on as usual.

Anyway, we won't need roads and railways once we all have our new Spitfires delivered

Theyve not had rain in Suffolk for a while looking at the state of the grass.

Our front lawn has been straw for weeks and even with watering everyday loads of the plants have just dried up, I honestly can't remember the last time we had more than a quick 5 minute shower.

Forecast a bit of rain today fingers crossed.
