Aye, We were slow at the start of the season. Then the thick cunts decided to make us even slower in January 😂

I would expect Wilder to be sacked.A far superior team to Sunderland but chose to sit back and defend after half time. The commentator said one of Sheffield's players cost more money than the entire Sunderland starting 11.

Yep we need a different approach and evatt was trying to get us championship proof football without massive investment you can’t do it . You need to either go total football and spends large amounts or find a style hat catches teams out football goes in cycles and a long ball team with athletes will rip it up at some point Pepe football is done big Sam football

Plenty of pacy players at our level. We just haven't been buying them.

I know they have great support but Sunderland have to be one of the most boring clubs around for me

I'm pleased they won though as I remember plenty of "blades" being proper restores the year we went up with them under Parky

I'm not sure there are really.  Week after week I think if the opposition had pace they'd rip us apart, but all the games are so slow.  Even Brum, Wrexham and the play off teams didn't frighten us for pace, its more about being better organised and stronger than us.

Desmond is as good as it gets for pace.  Fossey and Bradley would possibly be the fastest in L1 if  playing now, happy to be corrected if I've forgotten someone.

That's because they were in the PL recently whilst Sunderland were in L1

The lad who scored the winner is off to Brighton, they announced it in April for some reason, £10m

I was thinking Blake v Newcastle in 97 but can't find it, do the honours @Krimzon

But there's a couple in a row around 2m 35s in that were reminiscent of it.

That's exactly the one

Though the mind plays tricks and it was fuck all like Lukakus

Still a great control and finish

Fun fact

That was meant to be our first home fixture and the first match at the Reebok and why SKY had it down for a Monday night

But the ground wasn't ready so they had to rearrange it

Which is why played our first 3 games away that season and they showed Everton on TV instead for the occasion

But because of the commitment to showing the Newcastle game on sky they had to show that as well and as they were in the CL their window was limited

So in November we had to play Wimbledon at home on the Saturday and Newcastle the following Monday two days later and that's shortest turnaround a team has had in the PL

I don't think anyone else has ever played Saturday Monday ever

Richest match in world football with 3 great goals, Scottish cup final with a shock result, England win the cricket by an innings. Sky News lead sports story? Arsenal ladies beat Barcelona. FFS.

And, yet, both you and Sky miss the big F1 story of the day: Lando Norris wins the Monaco grand prix. Tomorrow afternoon, he’ll lead the traditional winners procession around the streets of Monaco, which will last about 90 minutes.

I've got clients out there and they say the place is absolutely mental.

Favourite cousin was, until recently, a copper with the specific job of transporting Camorrese to and from prison for court dates etc. Armoured car, pistol on his lap, the works.

Told us last night that he'd elect to stay in the apartment for the next 7-10 days if he didn't have to go out.

One mad fucker has been out and painted a large number of major junction traffic lights 'celeste' (sky blue) including the light lenses. Traffic chaos.

Bullets flying, flares making Napoli look like it's on fire, fireworks. Mad house.
