Yes he has but that's only because Clough hardly played. Madines game so predictable can't run past anyone can't our skill any one and is poor finisher, he's not bad at holding it up and not bad in the air, but that doesn't scare defenders in the championship.

clough hasnt scared many this season

which has me beat as hes very good with bags of potential

for whatever reason, it hasnt happened for him

Madine needs help (not a psychologist)up front someone to take some weight off him & make some runs .Woolery should be given a chance tomorrow leave welly the show pony on the bench.Gotta be worth a try.

Had more attention from defenders but still scored 3 from 12 despite being nowhere near his best.

Welly can't defend

Why not go balls out and put him, Clough and Woolery as a top 3? Get Trotter, Spearing and Pratley as a solid (??) middle 3 behind to stop them rampaging through the middle

Madine can stay in the changing room doing his hair. The massive, massive Fanny

We may as well go down having a go because at the moment we are impotent and can't defend anyway

Clough's a twenty year old with 17 starts to his name.

if he's let you down, it might be because circumstances forced you to put all your faith in a kid who'd shown (and continues to show) plenty of promise.

The injuries haven't helped him, but there's also an argument that Clough has been badly let down this season, too.

Agree 100% the whole pressure of keeping the club up shouldn't be on his young shoulders, he should be used carefully while he is still developing physically, we should have good enough senior pros available while he's allowed to develop at his own pace. Edited by Mounts Kipper

Not sure how Clough has let us down

He clearly worked on his physicality and upper body strength last pre-season, but he was still marked well / out-muscled in some games.....the emphasis there should be on the team to exploit other spaces when he's clearly being targeted by a couple of defenders.

Oh and he got injured.

OK he didn't score in every game, but what do you expect?

I agree we shouldn't be pinning all of our hopes on him, but keeping him should give us a boost to take into games

Let's get him and Woolery unleashed - they have no fear yet....some of the senior pro's are so brow beaten they are "hiding" and don't want the ball....it's them that need the actual break

The last thing his shoulders need is pressure

With feeney and pratley undroppable who makes way for Clough?

I'm not sure......but it only becomes and issue if and when Clough is fit, which doesn't seem to be that often at the minute
