No reason at all, and those 2 would pass any criteria of what you want in a signing. But arguably some players get a contract they wouldn't otherwise have got, eg McManaman or Crellin/Dixon. Deanu Posted July 4, 2023 Share Posted July 4, 2023 Sorry but don’t get that signing if true, why we forking out 200K on a CB when we’ve just had the second best defence in the league with Rico-Johno-Toal along with Geth as the cover. Unless Rico or GJ is off then what’s the point in wasting a significant sum of our budget in that area? Not to mention the 300K according to Iles on Nlundulu who has hammy problems & barely fount the net in all three loan spells at L1 level.
