Hearing a whisper that we have signed a highly rated wing back, from a Championship club, on season long loan. Hopefully gives us a cutting edge and Doyle some service. No name until it’s confirmed.

Yes, I’ve got some Lotto great info too. Can’t say anything until the Saturday draw for security reasons but I’ll give you all six numbers on Saturday night when they’re drawn.

Looks like another moneyball signing to me, we need proven league 2 who are guaranteed ready. He might come good but looks like a right sided version of Liam Gordon. Hope it comes off suspect it won’t.

Can loan signings be seen as moneyball acquisitions really?

I reckon he'll be reet, but injured by Christmas 😆

Possibly not, unless he’s on loan with view to signing permanently.

Would think so

Moneyball isn’t just about buying and selling for a profit, part of it is just getting the best team together within a budget

Or at least that’s what I got from watching the film last week. Brad Pitt signed a few old timers who could do a job but had no resale value

Although I think our recruitment policy is more Bingo ball than moneyball

We need to be doing this, rather than bring in a load of young uns with potential, we need to get out of this shite league first time.
