I love the inevitable criticism from fans when announcements like this are made.

If he was anywhere near good enough he’d be in contention. Faal’s first (and perhaps only) touch at Rochdale was 20 yards from goal and went out for a goal kick.

Hope he does well and we can reap the rewards, but on first impressions, a footballer he is not.

So it’s nearly time to open the door to the magical land of the transfer window.

What we thinking ? We clearly need some depth but what are the priorities.

Keeper......

Keeper, left wing back, Andrew Tutte clone.

Plus a striker for cover for Doyle and Fonz, Miller seems to be injury prone.

Agreed. I’d love Kean Bryan back as DM, he looked a player

He started in the premier league last week so no way he’s going to league 2

Do we need to clear squad space before we can bring anyone new in? If so, that'll be the hard bit

I’m thinking of one space we should be clearing right away

I must admit that surprised me.  Much as we rate him, he's far from being even a championship player never mind Prem.  Sheff U had injuries to both their left sided defenders and I wouldn't rule out him getting a loan move if that is his only appearance upto January (in 18 months).

He is easily league 1 ability, league 2 he’d be top draw, however we don’t need his position filled.

We need a defensive midfielder and a left sided defender.  He'd do both jobs in his sleep in this league.

I agree he would, was thinking more of him as centre half, he’d be better than Delaney but Delaney adequate, if we’re limited to how many we can sign id prefer a keeper and a striker first.

For clarity, division 3 is where we were last season

He was not stand out, like for example bridcutt was

Anyway, he aint coming, unless you think hes dropping 3 divisions

If you think that, whats verlinden up to
