I know precisely nothing about her. Can someone fill me in with all I need to know condensed into about 10 words as a favour please?

Female.

Black.

You don't need 8 more.

Be some mixed up minds today :D

The right wing types who are fixated by her race and gender (although they’re not necessarily racist / misogynistic 😉) might be applying for Reform party membership this afternoon.

Hope someone is checking on David Tennant tonight. 😉

You lot are absolutely obsessed with upsetting celebrities. It's weird as fuck mate.

Remember, it doesn't matter what happens politically, just as long as the likes of George Clooney and Chesney from Corrie are pissed off, then all is well with the world

It's nuts. "I don't care about things that actually affect my kids lives, I just want a millionaire celebrity to be mildly annoyed."

It’s BAYdenoch you fucking peasants.

Gammon Twitter is all over the shop on this one.

Nigerians leading their party doesn’t seem to be the result they were after.

We’ll judge her when she’s done a budget. Until then, it’s for the birds

If nothing else, it disproves the hysterical claims flung around when Sunak lost to Truss that the Tory membership wouldn't vote for a non-white candidate

She'll no doubt too often end up making herself rather than the government the story and I reckon the members might quickly end up with buyer's remorse

She got even less votes than Sunak got when he lost to Truss...

Unfortunately feel she will be facing large chunks of the party, nitbto mention that the media are set against any women in charge and try to bring then down quickly.

Hope she does well regardless .. country needs a strong opposition for a change.

It seems your party has once again got itself into the likely unsustainable position where it has a leader with either the backing of the membership or the Parliamentary party but not both

No way she's the leader by the next election. Under even the mildest scrutiny, she can become aggressive, lashes out and starts speaking utter shite. Her comments about autism were shameful. Total liability and another Tufton St shill to boot.

Tories haven't changed a bit.

She will be the opposition leader and they are good traits in putting the government onto a spot especially with a over-comfortable majority.

can become aggressive, lashes out and starts speaking utter shite... if she needs any advice, point her my way
