The facts are Hull Leeds and Derby looked a class above us. Last night Hull scored with what seemed like their first three attacks. Derby missed their chances.

 

I get they have better players but we just keep playing same way. We fell into 3 at the back and it worked but isn't now. Neither is 2 up front. For me it is time to play 4 5 1. With moralis and Buckley wide midfield players and three in middle keeping it tight.

 

I get the CF will be isolated but you can not be shipping 2 or 3 goals in first half of games

 

If we do not change it round I can see us conceding 7 or more in games this season.

Agree we need 4-5-1 against better teams but we have to be braver against teams around our ability, we also badly need to bring in defensive centre mid specialist, and a change of personnel at full back with Derick being brought back into the team. Not panicking yet there were one or two positives and I think Parky will sort it out.

Parky's personnel are all wrong for the system he's trying. Morais ain't a wing back as long as I have a hole in my arse. Taylor is struggling with it too.

 

We simply have too many good league 1 players though but that won't change without investment. Parky and his staff have to really nail down the basics and get very organised very quickly if we are going to survive. I think we will though, this is a steep learning curve for everyone, the championship has moved on since we've been away.

I remember having a "chat" with CWP back in the early spring after i had stated it would be  no fun in the second tier with the poor team we were turning out.CWP asked if i wanted us to be promoted.If i knew then what the summer transfer activity was going to be i'd have been even less enthusiatic about promotion.Even back in 1993, Rioch was given a few quid to strengthen a better team after promotion.This is just pathetic and  I can't see a change of manager changing anything, bar the miracle of Sam fancying the challenge

We've probably got less money than every other team in this league.

 

Can't compare our league with the Prem anymore, it's just not the same.

 

We cannot build a squad full of second tier players mixed with the odd Prem standard players like most in this division can.

 

We cAn build a league one standard squad and hope our handful of second tier quality players and manager can keep us up.

Can't use this budget tripe week in week out. Basics weren't good enough last night. Dervite is our best defender by a long stretch at the moment. I'm surprised more didn't get a chance after Tuesday. I think Alnwick, Robinson, little and wilbraham all deserve a crack against Boro.

 

Our fans didn't stop all game and were superb. All 3 aways it's been the same. Hull fans in that section were scroaty little twats and I'm glad the red cap got slammed

Correct 4-5-1 is the only way now and we need to add another centre mid as we are bereft of options.It won't be pretty but I'd rather get a few unlikely 1-0's.

PP's teams are normally drilled and organised, but this is clearly not the case at the moment.

 

We lack ability but we overcome that with hard work.

 

That may not be enough, such is the gulf in class from league 1.

correct, like I said last night if we got outplayed purely down to other teams being superior then you hold your hands up and say fair enough we can't compete due to funds

 

However that's not the case

 

Leeds was an excellent performance imo and something we should of built on but that didn't happen
