Aruba is the only place i fancy in the Carribean (Never been)

Off to Croatia next month, never been there either.

I love Croatia, we had a tour round last summer. Very much like Italy but less commercialised. Where about are you going?

Vegas again for me tomorrow.

Spent a week looking at Vegas and New York two-city deals and then suddenly, out of the blue, we're off to Dubai for 6 days. I've got to say I didn't see that coming.

Any 'must do' stuff and can we buy the attraction entrance here? Is it cheaper to do so?

2 great cities but if ever a holiday leaves you needing a holiday, it’s these 2. Absolutely non stop.

Dubai is a city I’ve never fancied yet everyone who goes loves the place. I’ll give it a try 1 day

Stayed in Playacar just outside Playa del Carmen once at the New Rui Palace and twice at the Rui tequila (before it was done up)

Really nice place, beach is stunning gated Area so nice and safe but Carmen only a short walk away.

Last trip we stayed at the Royalton wow what a Hotel.just to far out of the way for us but hands down up there as one of best hotels we stayed at.

Trips loads chichen itza a long day and warm but one to tick off as is Coba Ruins, you could climb that but I think may of been stopped now. Tulum again just nice to tick off with a cenote after.

Xel ha for your dolphins etc

Boats trips to isla contoy and mujeres.

And Coco Bongos is dear for what it is but on holiday so just enjoy.

And book with Tui so you can fly on the dreamliner

Brill - thankyou

We both did NY last November. I've done LV on my own (well, with a group of about 100 other singers and family) but MrsD never fancied it. Hence we ended up going the opposite way. Obviously we'll be going to see the Burj Khalifa but beyond that, I would love to know the places folk went and loved but as importantly, went and wished they hadn't.

my mate is in dubai at the minute, he said it's £24 for a peroni in the hotel

£19 for a guinness

No different than Iceland to be honest.

Maybe that's their way of ensuring there is very low incidences of drunkenness.

That’s dear even by Dubai standards.

Most places do happy hour from 5-8pm and a pint is about £6/7 then.

Rest of the time, £10 is about normal. £24? Must be in the Burj.

There are a few all inclusive popping up - have a look at the Rixos in Abu Dhabi...

Thusday evening . friday afternoon and friday evening you can get 4 hour all inclusive brunches at decent hotels for about 250 dirhams, 50 quid, including food and as much ale / wine / shorts as you can binge on
