it feels like it is moving from place to place....lungs/kidneys feel worst....sleeping a lot.

That's  exactly how I felt... the bugger is always trying to get at you. I could feel it at the top of my windpipe and one night it got a bit further and I was coughing like a good un. I always woke up with aching kidneys and I had a stiff neck that took ages to clear but I'm not certain whether that was from sleeping in the spare room.

It's like there's a battle going on... give it a bit of Bolton clog and tell it to fuck off, that's what I did.

Flu jabs being cancelled due to delivery problems and non-essential blood tests not available due to a lack of tubes. This winter is going to be no picnic.

Taking back control.

We hold all the cards

we are free of the shackles of European bureaucracy

We can no longer blame the Europeans for all our problems.

This is now our watch.

How can they be non essential? Surely you need to know the blood results to know if they are essential?

Yes.  I suppose they will draw a line somewhere and there will be loads of things missed because of it.  Bad state of affairs.

I managed to avoid it and have been double jabbed. Now picked it up and been positively tested.

Feeling very hot with sweats like I’ve been sunburnt, taste dropped out last night which was an interesting development.

The cough that produces is just under the radar but does occasionally come to the fore and makes me feel nauseous.

A cracking lad from Breightmet just lost his life to it, family of season ticket holders at BWFC for years.  Really knocked me for six this one, it was at his parents house i got my love for punk music and The Stranglers.  fit as a fiddle too, kept care of himself.  RIP Ratty x

I’m still here!

Current symptoms feel like being hungover and general aches and fatigue.

Last night, there was a slight bout of light headedness and minor confusion. Seems like the symptoms list is like a check list that the virus works through trying to find a weakness in the body it can attack and exploit.

Any other infected about?

I had it a few weeks ago. Hence me having to cancel trips to Wimbledon and Lincoln at the last minute. I was nearly going to be a shithouse and go to both. But for a few days the symptoms got a grip. Especially the headache, was pounding. A few night shivers and sweats. Loss of taste and smell (that was the worst symptom by far). I'd say I felt rough for 2-3 days. Sitting in a restaurant a week later - shovelling food into my mouth with zero taste and drinking red wine with zero taste - what a truly shit experience that was.

My piss is a funny colour at the minute. Wife says the same about hers. Like a brown-orange colour. Weird. I've yet to Google that as a symptom.

3 litres of water per day.

Can't see both me and the wife having identical "liver" issues. Doesn't add up.

Fight the bugger, and get well soon.
