Players I'd be looking to move on:

Coleman

Jones

Santos (Would love for him to prove himself under SS as just a defender without being asked to do all the other stuff, but heads gone)

Dempsey (sorry, too unreliable as much as I like him)

Thomason (if we can get a 7 figure fee, otherwise he's cheap enough and has enough potential to be an asset worth keeping)

Adeboyejo

Matheson

Nlundulu

I wouldn't be looking to bring any of the current loan players back in.

On the fence:

Schon

Johnston

Lolos

Randall

Mendes Gomes

Everyone’s available as far as I’m concerned

For the right money yeah, but there's more than a few I'd let walk away for nothing to release some moneyz and squad places

Pardon. If he recovers full fitness, Dempsey is everything Thomason wants to be. Energy and commitment allied to some talent.

He’s our only box-to-box midfielder and , even if we brought another in, we’d need two of them.

Are you hard of hearing? 😁

If he recovers full fitness. And that's a big if. I really like him but we can't afford passengers at the moment. And I imagine he's on a decent wage too. 8 games he's played this season.

I like him too, but he's made of Weetabix....

If we don’t go up Collins maybe of interest around the championship

I still think Randall will end up being a good signing for us - but he needs the right players around him in midfield (which we don't have).

He wants to pull his socks up first.

Id be surprised if our wage bill is more than wycombes

Im almost certain they have at least 2 players on a chunk more than our top earner

It’s hard to say got the info from a newspaper article . I know Wycombe are big spenders since the take over .
just read also Stockport have losses now of 24 million this year and there owner as put 11 million back in new shares

Not sure if I've imagined it, but Schon seems to have been frozen out a bit since Schumacher came in

I'd happily move Thomasson on

Jones been a great servant for us but it's time for us to part ways

Santos bye bye

Vic probably gonna be tricky to offload given the nature of his injury

Sorry, i deleted it as i find it hard to believe most of em are on much

I stand by their top 2 being higher than any of ours though!

I’d keep Santos. Him and Forino are similar and I reckon we need oNe or the other in a long season.

I still think Demps has the running to do a great job or us.

But Randall - seems he needs too much time

SS has already made it clear who his preferred players are.

Tomo, Morley, Sheehan in midfield.

I can't see him readily moving any of them on, unless a good offer is received.

First two a younger players and not at their peak.

Matete and Lolos appear to be the more likely leavers.

We need another midfielder, of a certain type as we know, but, as he suggests in his interview, wholesale changes don't appear to be on the cards.

Matete is on loan ain't he.     And would prefer a better tommo or at least a par for competition

He is, yes.

Easier to replace if not required, and no need to be desperately looking to off load current lads on contract.

We'll save a wage immediately.

Santos is going. Was never staying. Forino was brought in as his long term replacement by Evatt, and we're slowly seeing why. Agree there needs to be back up, but it won't be Santos.

My biggest issue with Santos is his inconsistent play, he can be unplayable for forwards at times but then 2 minutes later will have a brain fart leading to a goal. The ability is definitely there but his mentality lets him down and has kept him here.

If he had ever got the fuck ups out of his system he could play higher up the football pyramid.

His fellow pros agreed for the last 2 seasons!

That he was a Rolls Royce?😂

I do think he’s been incredibly overhyped for years at Bolton.

No malice from me though. Some good times, some bad. Probably won’t be in the memorable list ether good or bad.

Genuine question - why do you say that?

There seems to be an impression that he's downed tools since Evatt left, which really isn't the case.

Shouldn't forget that he's been the mainstay (along with Gethin) of a team that, for 4 years, took us from the arse of League Two to a play off final. The fella was an absolute Rolls Royce at this level. Of course he made mistakes, but he's been some player for us.

He played with an injury for much of the season under Evatt.

I was sat by him at the Stockport game and he's fully invested in his teammates and the club. I don't get the disdain some people have for him!

Santos was the mainstay of a poor side 4 years ago but right at the beginning Baptiste pulled him out of the shit time and again. Having lettuce hands in goal behind him didn't help for sure but what brought Santos on was Matt Gilks coming in to the side and shouting down his and Gethins earholes.

From then we've moved on, the standard of the league has moved on but for me Santos hasn't continued the improvement we all wanted from him.
