I don't think Pompey are ripping up trees, if looking at individual games, they are just consistent and solid. Only scored 1 in last 3 aways (but not conceded any) and rarely win by more than one. Just get the job done, a bit like Derby and Barnsley, they love a 2-1 or 1-0 win with a fairly late goal. Compared to say Lincoln and Posh that, when on form, have games won by H-T. Winning by one goal or 3, it doesn't matter in their position. Plenty good enough for promotion, and something we would certainly be pleased with. That's a fair few tress down as far as I can see.
