Every bugger is ill to a degree, and after a day or two of hassle we retired early ready for today. Left the kitchen in a mess as we were fucked. Came downstairs early to set the turkey off, and the lad had completely tidied up- was like new! Relief. Honey, lemon and ginger, and now for veggie preparation! Oh the joys 😊 Quote

Went to visit her sister and brother in law this morning in Ravensthorpe, a neighbouring Northamptonshire village. Presents exchanged and a couple of glasses of port and a mince pie. Back home now, drawbridge up and sat in the pyjamas. We're slowly drinking ourselves senseless whilst waiting for the biggest fore rib of beef I've ever seen roast to perfection.
