Brownies goal at Bournemouth, that set up the Hull invasion

If ronaldo woukd have flicked the ball up and set his mate up like McAteer did that night they would be showing it for years.

What a move.

Chuck that in with Zico Kelly's goal at Wigan.

Nolan's overhead against Portsmouth, was watching the game in the Happy Duck before our first ever UEFA cup game. Happy days! Think we moved into the top 4 with the win, I was leathered sat back thinking this is as good as it gets

JayJay freekick against villa in the league cup semi!! What a goal that was!

I always think this one when I think of goals that more should have been made of.  Sasa's mazy dribble as well.

I was also going to say Philliskirk's free kick(s) against Coventry but seem to remember a rumour of Michel Platini shortly thereafter stating he was the best striker of a dead ball on the planet.  In which case it probably wouldn't qualify for the category in question  :)

Ricketts at Stockport we were shocking but that goal was top top draw.

He also set up a goal that night IIRC with a textbook cruyff turn and inch perfect cross

County fans were joining in "Ricketts for England"

That turned out well didn't it

My birthday and Ricketts' last goal of the season.

A link on another thread showing Nolan's goal against Arsenal got me thinking . . .  How many 'top' goals have been scored by unfashionable sides/players that, had they been Arsenal, Man U Liverpool etc, people would still be wanking themselves to death over? Curcic's against Chelsea (IIRC) and Elmander's V Wolves spring to mind Doesn't have to be Bolton goals mind

Nolan got a few tbh, that bicycle kick, spurs, scum plus a few more

David Reeves equalising at Chester kick started that season and Julian Darby with the winner at home to Stoke finished off a great week that started with Brownies goal.

David Lee against Norwich in the League Cup quarter final at Burnden.

Stelios against Everton in the 4-0 win at goodison.

Henrik Pedersen at home against West Ham. 30 yard toe bunger straight into the top corner.
