Ffs, just use commen sense. In the excitement of the moment there no problem with it.

If the player has "up the isis" or something similarly offensive or controversial tattooed on his person, then book him- obviously.

If its just a brief explosion of joy then no harm done.

It really is. Get rid.

It's likes of Mike Riley, Mike Dean & Lee Mason that need getting rid of if they don't think for example pulling hair is a foul and give decisions like West Ham goal. Unbelievable Jeff

I would book players who join in any pre planned goal celebration dance. Option for red if over complicated.

Firm hand shake and approving nod then stroll back to your own half ready to carry on

The west ham one is odd- in slow motion it certainly looks like the striker leaves his left foot trailing, as if trying to win a penalty.

Keeper makes a massive meal of it, but is it nevertheless a foul?

The Geordie one is worse for me, as the var officials weren't shown the whole picture, and miss the defender pushing willock into the keeper.

This. 1,000 times this.

I'd add, for real reasons, the knee slide to the corner after scoring. One day someone is going to rip their knee to shreds. Especially some kid in the school yard !

re: celebrations, someone just needs to build a time machine, go back to before Italia 90 and shoot Roger Milla

then none of this ever happens

One lad scored against my lads team (under 9s) last week and did some press ups infront of his cheering gaggle of parents.

15 years back, my lot played away

Right set of twats

Gave both teams a 10 minute lecture on respect.

2 minutes in, they score and some shithouse with a shaved head, probably had lice, scores and karate kicks the corner flag across 3 fields

It was horwich, so hardly surprising

Hypocrites

St Mary’s perchance?

probably 18 to 20 years ago, my lad wasn’t the biggest kid ever to stand in goal but made up for a lack of strength and stature with agility and fearlessness.

As was the norm, I was reffing. My lad was about to take a goal kick  and this Horwich dad or grandad shouted to his team, “Push up on the keeper. He’s only a weedy kid and won’t kick it far!”

My blood boiled. I stopped the game and walked over to him and sent him off the field. He told me I didn’t have the authority. “Didn’t I?” I asked him. I called the HSM manager over and told him what had gone on and the manager ordered him off the pitch as well. I remember his parting words, “Who do you think you are, Sam Allardyce?”  I may have smiled at him.

I hear you but he removed his shirt as they’d given a goal. It wouldn’t of happened if they hadn’t given the goal. Once that reversed all after should be expunged similarly to any passage of play after a ‘corrected’ decision would be.

Correct. If the goal isn't 'awarded', he doesn't remove his shirt.

Our old pal Gary Madine ruffling feathers over this way.

Out on the lash at 2am the night before a game then gets a 3 game ban for violent conduct.
