frank_spencer Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 A win and run outs for a few left out on saturday will do nicely. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 3-0. Other than Spearing I would like to see the same spine of the team that played yesterday and hopefully a couple of goals for madine to get him going. Quote
tshape Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I'm out. Flogging Molly in Manchester. Gutted to be missing a cup classic though. Quote
stevieb Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 A win with a wobble. They go one up we win 3-1 after a rousing half time bollocking from Lenny Quote
Eddie Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Best thing about this game is that it gets Spearings suspension out of the way. Hopefully just a comfortable win with no injuries please Quote
Biggish Dave Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Win but not easily, we never make things easy for ourselves in games like this. 2-1, Vela & Madine Quote
DaveTheRave Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 2-0 Madine, Davies. Come On You Whites!!! Quote
Rembrandt Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Win but not easily, we never make things easy for ourselves in games like this. 2-1, Vela & Madine This. I'll be away though. Back for next round. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Fifteen and five I thinkOnly a tenner actually I think, even better. 2-0 win. 4,863. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 It would make a nice change to keep a first team together for once, help them gel for the next league game, instead of the usual wholesale changes you normally see for the first round of this cup against lower positioned opposition. I've never understood it, especially when there's an international break a few weeks later, it's not like you need to rest players so early into the campaign. Start strong, get a good lead, then change a few personnel. Get into the next round, build a winning mentality. Anyhow, 3-1, Madine (2) Feeney. 7,638. Quote
birch-chorley Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) I'm out, away with work, none of my lit are bothering even with the solid performance yesterday Can see it being a super low attendance for this What's our record low attendance? Edit - just checked and its 3,600 v Gillingham in the league cup 1999 (we should be North of that) Edited August 9, 2015 by birch-chorley Quote
clown Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Only a tenner actually I think, even better. Like the man in the orthopaedic shoes, I stand corrected. Tenner it is. Quote
deane koontz Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 A fucking tenner.. jeez 3-0 to the worlds greatest team 9,905. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 School holidays a tenner and a fiver, I'd hope a few dads take lads and we break 10k. Quote
EyesRight Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 In plus 5. What else are you going to do on a Tuesday? Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I,ll be surprised if we break 5,000. This game be a good one to give freebies to season ticket holders. Quote
L/H White Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 This game be a good one to give freebies to season ticket holders. how does that work giving out freebies? I thought the club have to pay a percentage to the away side? Quote
