Imagine him standing there in your driveway for 5 minutes deciding what to do with your parcel whilst next doors dog bears down on him.

CMG looked good in one game. I think he could be good but we as a fan base have no idea.

Big Dan is shit or bust this year I reckon

I'll go for 2 or 3 games! Scored in a couple iirc.

Beyond that injuries wrecked his season.

If he can get back, then great, but I think Evatt has planned for him not doing so.

Written about Dan before. Another one who was just threatening to get better, then he broke too. If another striker comes in, then I reckon he's off (on loan).

Threatening to improve on the very very low bar they had set.

if we are serious about going up I don’t believe they will offer enough. Hope I’m wrong

I'd be berating the better half for her lack of movement I reckon.

Dan won't get the chance I don't think, and he'll be off.

We simply haven't seen enough of CMG to know, but that brief spell when fit suggested he is good enough.

On injuries, then yes you'd have doubts about him. I don't on ability.

His song is a bit repetitive😀

Our song book is dreadful 😂

And despite that, I hope I never hear that Stone Roses one in any form again. It sums up failure!

I think Dan has it in him to have a really good season at this level, permitted the time.

I see a lot criticising his touch, but the ball certainly sticks to him better than it did say Bakayoko, who may as well have not been there beyond a freakish purple patch.

Very much a confidence player. End of the day, he’s 4th choice and our only real ‘target man’ as such. Could prove to be a very important outlet.

Edit: Apologies @Traf posted in wrong thread

The problem is that he probably won’t get the time or chance to prove he can be an important outlet and especially if we sign McAtee, as he won’t get the game time and will probably be either loaned out or moved on. Like you I think Dan does have it in him but I’m not sure he’ll get chance to prove it here.

Paid 500 quid for him IIRC, do remember a bag of balls as well!

Aye, always remember it as £500 and a bag of footballs

it's been said many times, but what was actually seen in the time we had him on loan to warrant a fee?

One of the most bizzare  cash signings of Evatts tenor!
